the 20's and 60's vibes makes more sense once you get into it and realize the setting a bit more

I'd say it's a bit closer to 30's/40's swing than 20's, with the bigger, bombastic sound from the drums and horns. Think Stan Kenton, Benny Goodman, Buddy Rich... the earlier swing stuff didn't really have that same heavy drive in the rhythm section, even on fast songs. And I KNOW you could hear that the bass and drums were cookin'!

its just the 1st season with 25 episodes, S2 will continue october this year and there will be a movie as well on december same year... you'll gonna love this anime...

You should look more into Hige Dandism (band from the 1st opening) songs, they are very popular and talented music band from Japan that have a lot of bangers songs that hitting the charts.

The show takes place in 1960s germany. Based on est and west germany... specifically. The city is Berlint.

based on cars and electronics used in the show it is more late 70's -early 80's . i know because i have the same video recorder anya used to play and record spy cartoon, the fun fact is it does not support color :] most prevelent cars are trabants 601 and wardburg 353 mark 2 but in 2nd season bad guy uses something in between golf mark 1 and fiat uno it is hard to pin point exact timeframe but one thing for sure in comunistic block cars and electronics lasted forever because you could only get one unit in set time with no replacements i might be wrong because this is ficticious country based on west/east germany

Spy X Family kinda tried to be a pioneer and push a new growing trend of splitting up seasons Into 2 or more parts Technically only season 1 is out but you’ve got Season 1 part 1 Season 1 part 2 As for the scenes/vibes The show is reportedly taking place in a fictional version Of Germany & Europe fusion with inspiration from a few other regions/countries and the 20s / 60s with a lil 40s vibe is also intentional
