@@patinho5589 i know im from the Netherlands and saw him play... For me Stevie destroys Gullit in almost everything... The only thing Gullit had an advantage was his vertical jump..
14:50 that was the last kick of the game, in the FA Cup final, he scored to tie the game 3-3 and take it into Extra time (like overtime in Basket Ball) I cannot overstate the clutchness of Gerrard
I have probably seen every steven Gerrard goal, but seeing you guys see our captain leader talisman and inspiration doing his magic made me smile even more. The beautiful thing about Gerrard was he could of gone anywhere in world football but he loves liverpool for many reasons but giving liverpool fans joy was his gift completely. Stevie G ynwa ❤
Recommended this before, imma try again haha. Hopefully yall get around reacting to "The unmatched skills of Luka Modric." The best midfielder alongside zidane & iniesta this century.
A midfielder is like a point guard. He controls the flow and direction of the game. His job is to open up opportunities and create holes in the defense, then feed the strikers to score. The most important position in my opinion.
The goal when he "just walked off" was the opening goal in an FA Cup match against Luton Town. Gerrard later explained that he knew the team wasn't playing well enough for that to be the winner so he didn't get excited by it. He was right - that game ended up 5 - 3 Liverpool with the final goal being scored by Xabi Alonso from inside his own half (their keeper went up field for a corner and couldn't get back in time to stop it; there's a great shot of Gerrard screaming at Xabi for taking the shot and immediately turning that into applause when it went in...)
Been waiting for this, one of the most complete all round players of all time (I would put him on a level with Guillit and the only player more complete I have seen was Lothar Matthaus)
Gullit and Mattheus are both all time greats, and probably rank well above Gerrard. But I've never seen that dribbling ability from Mattheus, Gullit maybe.
@@epicurhyss4014 Matthaus could dribble his ass off, Mathaus I have over Gerrard for sure, but Guillit I think him and Gerrard are pretty equal overall, although I would say Guillit had smoother close control and was a better dribbler, I would say Gerrard was better at long shooting in open play. If you were saying Guillit was a little better, I would accept that, but Well above Gerrard? nah that I dont agree with, As for Gerrard I think you are doing him a bit of disservice, and possibly letting his lack of Prem titles colour your judgment. Proof of Matthaus dribbling his ass off ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OYQDqhcfVa4.html
I take back the qualifier "well" in saying Gullit and Matthaus were above him. However both those players did win Ballon d'Ors and or FIFA Player of the year awards. I hadn't however realized that Gerrard did come in 3rd place for the Ballon d'Or once. I saw a comment that Lampard was better than him. I know almost nothing of Lampard except noting just minutes ago, that he was voted 2nd place for the Ballon d'Or the same year that Gerrard came in 3rd, not that these awards are the ultimate measure. I fully admit of being highly impressed by his highlights, he being so well rounded that I assumed him to be a box to box midfielder, though someone has said he was a CDM. For that position, in addition to Mattheus, names like Davits and Veira alson come to mind. And though I've not yet seen any footage, I used to always hear that di'Stefano was one the all-time great all-rounders.
@@epicurhyss4014 Lampard was really a great player, but much more specialist than Gerrard. IMO a better goalscrer than Gerrard and tighter close control, but Gerrard was more complete
Thierry Henry - When Football Becomes Art. One of the finest strikers of all time. Don't worry about muting the music it won't get copyrighted other reactors didn't had any music issues as well 👍🏻
Steven Gerrard was the definition of a dog, and he had so much power in his shot and his long passes were so beautiful, he was one of the first players i idolized when i was young with Ronaldinho, Henry, Zidane and then Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo
Gerrard was amazing not gonna lie a great leader and probably the best at the box to box position in the Premier league, Scholes was best at the attacking/playmaker position and has titles to prove it with probably the best first touch and variety of pass types Lampard as more the all out attacking midfielder and was epic at his prime but never really controlled/conducted the game like the other two.

@@jalesbarjo4740 better than Gerrard at Long passing? Pirlo ? maybe, you have a case there, Carlos? um no not a chance, Scholes nope not at 70-80 yards, he did play better through balls though but usually form 30-40 yards, Beckham, same level, but Beckham was a better crosser (the best crosser I have ever seen) Better than Alonso? just no, none of them. NOTE: I am specifically referring to 70-80 yard passes, not 30-60 yard passes to me that is a mid range pass and Pirlo is the best mid range passer I have ever seen and possibly has the greatest passing range I have ever seen, but Alonso is the best long passer ever, no doubt in my mind. (if you class 40 yards and over as long range, then yeh I guess Pirlo is better, I dont class that as long range though) I respect all your opinions though even If I dont fully agree
@@dI9ESTIVES123 When I mean long range I mean 70-80 yards not 40-50. Alonso would do 4-8 70/80 yard passes a game, and whilst Pirlo is a better player and more gifted and versatile with his passing range, his Long passes were far less frequent on that long range> So under these criteria: Best passer Long: Alonso Mid: Pirlo Short: Xavi Best range of passing at the highest level: Pirlo IF you said Pirlo is the best all round passer ever? THAT I would agree with
😂😂 lad I don’t even know where to start with this idiotic comment. First of all Istanbul 05 is the most watched football game ever so I don’t think he was most known for his slip. Gerrard is better than lampard in every category apart from goals (but gerrard played in such a worse team), he could do everything , every big club in Europe wanted him, zidane said he was the best player in the world in 2009 and pretty much every england player said he was the best in training and in games. Tell me why lampard is better apart from trophies and goal scoring
@@liamwilkinson9902just coz he wanted to stay at his boyhood club doesn’t mean you can deny the fact he would’ve been so much more successful at bigger clubs. And please tell me how he’s the worse out of the 3. You’re defending lampard but he was the worse out of the 3🤣 never watch football again mate, fans like you ruin the sport
