Singing this with band and crowd was great. The concert was 6 days after this album came out and still everyone could sing every song. That was a great show.

I've seen Alestorm in Chicago in 2013. Amazing concert. The singer, Christopher Bowes drank almost whole bottle of whiskey during the show. After the show we had some beers with them in the club the show was in. Good times

little well known fact about one of this songs verses it references alot of their old songs (over the seas, wenches and mead, huntmaster, the quest, famous old spice, leviathan, back through time, shipwrecked, heavy metal pirates) in that order. party on scallywags

I got to see Alestorm back in 2018 at a festival called Bloodstock. This is one of the songs they played there. There were lots of inflatables being thrown around in the crowd. They also had a giant inflatable rubber duck on stage which they throw out into the crowd part way through the set.

saw them live yesterday evening, My ears are still ringing, my neck hurts from headbanging, my voice is shot from shouting along and my liver is screaming for help. All in all, a great evening :D (though I think I might be getting too old for this)

This is just one of those kinds of songs, if you were to play, the entire bar would erupt in chorus singing along. I would love to see that. And I could definitely see this being played in college parties.

Have you seen the Acapella group do the flash mob version of Drink in a bar? Everyone is just chilling, then 20 or so Metal pirates jump up on the tables and start singing this. It's awesome.

Don´t know,but couldnt find a mention of it so i suggest to you a band from Finnland called Korpiklaani. They did (and still do) some great drinking songs. You can choose, if you want to start with "Vodka" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-e7kJRGPgvRQ.html which came out in 2009 or with the 2020 released song "Ennen" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CWzaUkMvfZE.html , which actually is a finnish translated cover of Anthrax - "Got the time"

Check out "Stolen Treasure" by Rumahoy, it is basically a complete rip off "Drink" and that is the joke, they're pirates, and they stole the song from Alestorm.
