It all came form a visual novel with 3 different routes the story can go; hence 3 different versions, fate, unlimited blade works and heaven's feel. Each starts at one point and deviates to its own path story.
In the original visual novel you start with Fate route, then start over you get access to Unlimited Blade Works, then start over you get access to Heaven's Feel. That's the order you need to go. Oh yeah, there's 45 endings which all of them are canon.
@@aeri_taylors-version By 45 endings, its mostly like 40 or so endings aka deaths or overall bad endings caused by not making the correct choice. Theres only a handful of real endings that arent completely bad
Don't worry for not getting a good sense of the story watching the openings, that's normal. As you've guessed from the first opening, the original Fate/stay Night was a PC game, a visual novel (if you don't know what that is, it's exactly what it says on the tin: novels using the fact that they're on PC to add cinematography and music.) Thing is, those sometimes have what we call routes, basically branching stories. In Fate/Stay Night's case, you unlock those stories by completing the previous one. You start with the basic Fate route, which basically centers around the blond royalty girl, you get to the Unlimited Blade Work route, wich centers around the girl in red and the archer that's with her, then end with the Heaven's Feel route, which focuses around the sad girl from the last opening. All of those have the same starting point, but evolve in wildly different manners So all those openings you've watched are actually parallel stories, hence why you couldn't really get the story out of them. Some were from anime adaptation of individual routes, some were from remakes of the original game, so it can get confusing. But yeah, the Fate series is absolutely massive, in a way that I like to compare to stuff like Marvel and DC comics. They have a gigantic universe, full to the brim of characters that can all be the protagonists of their own shows and spin-offs, and sometimes cross-over or cameo in other's. Big difference is that Type-Moon, the company behind this universe, puts a big accent on it's unique worldbuilding, so almost every show gives at least an important nugget of information regarding the workings of this world. As someone who has stayed invested in this world for quite a while now, it's a hard task, but I don't regret any of it because it's just that interesting
@Angras_advocate Oh I actually already saw the message you sent thanks to the notification, but my answer must have been lost by YT as well. Yeah I don't mind, I don't watch a lot of react so I probably won't get the 1 per day mark, but I've saved your playlist and I'll recommend it to people I see that are interested
I should maybe point out that I do think that your playlist could benefit for some trimming if it's just for the purpose of reacts, because as is it's maybe too overwhelming for newcomers. Like the Dantes trailer for Type Lumina for instance, you're just going to lose the reactor when it comes up@Angras_advocate
Fate/stay night has 3 difference world line, same story but different choice by main character - Shiro Emiya. The Anime series should be: Fate/Zero op1: Oath Sign - LiSA Fate/Zero op2 :To the Beginning - Kalafina Fate/stay night (2006) op1: Disillusion Fate/stay night (2006) op2: きらめく涙は星に Fate/stay night UBW op1: Ideal White - Ayano Mashiro Fate/stay night UBW op2: Brave Shine - Aimer Fate/stay night HF (Moive) ed1: Hana no Uta - Aimer Fate/stay night HF (Moive) ed2: I beg you - Aimer Fate/stay night HF (Moive) ed3: Haru wa yuku - Aimer
I will forever be against watching Fate Zero first because of how it spoils what Shirou's Father did ( which is an important part of the plot early ) aswell as what the grail truly is but I guess it'll forever be a fight between Fate's fans
@@voilavoila196 fate stay night spoils what shirou did and outcome of zero. imagine starting naruto from shippuden. thats what u doing if u dont start from fate zero.
Fate is a series that merges both reality and mythological figures to make its story. While you honestly don't have to know anything about the inspirations to appreciate the series it's definitely a nice touch. This series is a combination of novels, animes, and some games. While the series does have a manga, it is considered the least enjoyable way to watch as it neither has the refined look the anime has and it doesn't have the additional information from the novel.
It starts off with stay night which is the most original one. Since then it has made a lot of spinoffs from the original concept with some changes and sometimes very similar character designs from the original one. While at first it'll just seem like a money grab and a way for them to market their characters. It's honestly a surprisingly deep story with characters that you'll either love or hate for good reasons
My favorite fate op is definitely the 2. one of Fate Stay/Night unlimited blade works brave shine by aimer. It's one of my favorite songs in general. The only ones that I like more that I can think of right now are daisy by stereo dive foundation, flashback by myavi vs kenken and the hypno loop part of the Charlotte op "bravely you"
14:11 Those markings are comand seals. Command seals or command spells, are magic nerves containing enormous amounts of mana granted to a master in the Holy Grail War. Typically, each master gets three each, but a master who's a reasonably skilled mage can transfer the command spells from another master to themselves through contact.
Fate/stay night was originally a visual novel released in 2004, written by Kinoko Nasu and developed by Type-Moon. They previously released Tsukihime in 2000 and Nasu wrote Kara no kyoukai and Mahoyo in 1998 and 1996. All of these take place in the same multiverse. A visual novel usually has routes. Alternate timelines that explore different characters and themes. Fate/stay night has three. Fate, Unlimited Blade Works and Heavens Feel. Realta Nua is a remaster released in 2005 that brought the game to consoles and removed the 18+ scenes. It got remastered again in 2014 under the same name for PSVita and phones. A prequel was written in 2006 by a different author and made an anime in 2011. It's recommended you watch it after since they wrote it assuming you know major spoilers. Stay night got 3 adaptations. Fate/stay night 2006 adapting the Fate route. Fate/stay night Unlimited Blade Works 2014 adapting UBW and the Heavens Feel trilogy starting 2017 ending 2020 adapting the last route. As a watch order: Optionally read the Visual Novel. The anime cuts a lot of corners, especially with adapting the main character. It's very long though, 100+ hours. Fate/stay night 2006(optional again, it's pretty bad) Fate stay night Unlimited Blade Works 2014 Fate stay night Heavens Feel(3 movies) Fate Zero 2011
I FUCKING LOVE FATE!!!! Fate is about a "ritual" called the holy gear war basically a battle royale. Where 7 mages (masters) summon a servant from one of 7 classes Saber, Lancer, Archer, Assassin, Beserker. Caster and. Where characters from mythology/history are summoned in to so a saber is not always the same character for exaple Julius Caesar and King Arthur are both Sabers. They fight for a master aka a mage that summoned them. To get the holy grail that can grant eny wish. Of course not all Fate shows work exactly like this but the main series does.
Fate stay night started as a PC game, a visual novel, that had 3 "routes", as in three different story lines, titled "Fate", "Unlimited Blade Works (UBW)" and "Heaven's Feel". The PC version was rated 18+, as it had mature content, and it had 2 different opening (maybe three, I'm not sure), using the same song "This Illusion" for both, but with different animations. It was later got released as a PS2 game, subtitled "Realta Nua". The PS2 version had several differences: a new epilogue, voice acting, redone music, and also the rating became 15+, removing the mature content. It also had new openings, the same song with different animation for each route. In 2006 the game got an anime adaptation that had 2 openings, the first was "disillusion", that is actually a different version of "This Illusion". This anime follow mainly the Fate Route, though it borrows quite a lot from other versions. In 2010 a movie adaptation of the UBW route was relesed. in 2014 another studio, ufotable, adapted UBW as a tv show anime, and later between 2017-2020 (I think) a trilogy of films adapting Heaven's Feel. Also, UBW's adaptation got the nickname "Unlimited Budget Works", because of how high quality everything looks. Basically, anything ufotable touches looks amazing. They also did the animation for the Realta Nua openings. The final OP you saw was for the Heaven's Feel part of the Realta Nua version of the game.
You should continue watching all of the OPs but you might want to skip the "khalid linear prism iliya" OPs for reasons. Fate is really good so I think you would like it because it's dark and very deep but in a easy way to understand. Most would people say to start with Fate/zero or Fate/stay night unlimited blade works then watch the other and after that there are the 3 heaven's feel movies which are great btw. After watched these there isn't really an order to the other anime so just ask for recommendations when you get to that part. Though I think you would like fate apocrypha.
Why should he skip the Kaleid Liner openings? Not only is it one of the best Fate spinoffs, if not *the* best, but it has some of the best openings too. I get that some people don't want to watch it due to the ecchi in 2wei, but that's no reason to not react to the OPs, if anything the opposite as not watching the series means not getting to see the OPs in the show so might as well watch them on their own
Fate/Stay Night is originally a visual novel, separated in 3 "routes" (the story starts the same in each route, but "branches out" at various point, allowing the reader/spectator to see it unfold in a totally different way, and explore different characters and various aspects of the universe it takes place in). The 3 routes, which add layers to each others and are thus _supposed_ to be followed in order, are named as such: - Fate (simply renamed Fate/Stay Night in most subsequent adaptations of this route: basically, if it's only written Fate/Stay Night, then it's this route) - Unlimited Blade Works - Heaven's Feel The original visual novel had a remaster on Playstation 2 named Realta Nua, which itself was in turn remastered much later on PS Vita. Both versions of Realta Nua have new openings for each route. The Fate route (the first one) was adapted by studio _Deen_ in anime series with the name Fate/Stay Night. The same studio later made an anime movie of the second route, Unlimited Blade Works, which also got a series adaptation by studio _Ufotable_ later on (which was and still is stupidly good). Ufotable then made the trilogy movie adaptation of the third and last route, Heaven's Feel (which quality is so ridiculous that my English is too poor to compliment). Fate/Stay Night also got some video games (as in, proper, _gameplay-driven_ adapations) to its name, like Fate/Unlimited Codes or Crucis/Fatal Fake, but as far as I'm aware none of their openings was on your list. Hope that helps! ^^
A key to understand what you are seeing here is that to know that Fate/Stay Night is originally a visual novel (VN) with three different routes (similar to different viable paths in a "Choose Your Own Adventure" book). The first is the Fate route, the second one the Unlimited Bladeworks route and the the third one the Heaven's Feel route. The main character is always the "normal looking guy" with the orange hair - Shirou, but each route puts the focus on a different set of other characters. Realta Nua was the rerelease of the VN with fully voice acted dialogue (and the few original h-scenes changed to something not age restricted that makes sense in the story) and of course new openings that even differed between platforms it was released for in some cases. The Fate route, with a few elements of the other routes because back than they were thinking it would be the only anime adaptation they would get, was adapted by studio Deen in 2006 (the VN came out in 2004). The Unlimited Bladeworks route was adapated into a single movie by studio Deen (a movie so no opening) and into a full blown TV series by studio Ufotable (who also did the later openings for Realta Nua). Heaven's Feel was also adapted into a series of three movies by Ufotable (but again no opening because they are movies - so the last Heaven's Feel opening you saw was Ufotables opening for Heaven's Feel in the VN). Hollow Ataraxia is sequel to all routes (despite their different endings - it makes sense in context), so it has basically the same cast, just slightly expanded. Fate/Zero is the prequel to Fate/Stay Night. The other Fate titles (excerpt for small things like Today's Menu for the Emiya Family or Fate Zero Cafe etc. and excerpt for the big crossover comedy Carnival Phantasm) do generally not share the cast and most take place in other timelines within the expansive multiverse that is called the Nasuverse (after it's creator Kinoko Nasu) which share the cosmology and setting rules and occasionally characters [that also makes sense once you get behind the main quirk of the Fate stories]. There are also other series that belong to the Nasuverse like Karano Kiyoukai, Tsukihime, Mahoutsukai no Yoru, Canaan [more or less], Tsuki no Sango, Notes, DDD.
Fate: Realta Nua (with the censoring turned on, because that's how the creator wanted it), the visual novel, is one of the deepest, most significant experiences one can have with either gaming or anime. Deep, both philosophically and emotionally. Great characters. Perfect mix of light/happy and dark/depressing. The best way I can explain it is, only the Mass Effect series comes close to it in depth and feels, and I think Fate: Realta Nua wins in both those areas. The plot, needless to say, is very strong. Each route alone has some of the best, mind-blowing, plot, in anything, ever. My suggestion, play Fate: Realta Nua, watching the opening for only the route you are on, follow it with watching the anime Fate/Zero (great anime), then consider playing Fate/Hollow Ataraxia. It's a sequel that's almost as good as the original and nearly as mind-blowing. Finally, I highly recommend watching the anime Kara no Kyoukai (lit. Boundary/Borderland of Emptiness, a.k.a. Garden of Sinners).
Without spoiling the story, the Fate/Stay Night was originally a visual novel, spanning 3 routes, with a different theme and heroine/love interest. The entirety of the story is about Shirou Emiya(main character) going through his "Fate" or his dreams and ideals, and how he deals with it in each different route: *Fate* has him tackle it head on. *Artoria*. is someone he both loves and aspires to be like. *Unlimited Blade Works* has him struggle with his inner/external conflict and how he'll end up. *Rin Tohsaka* both helps him along the way, and works to form a mutual, caring, relationship. *Heaven's Feel* has him give up on his aspirations for the one he loves. *Sakura Matou* gives Shirou a person he becomes devoted to protecting.
By the way Fate stay night, Fate stay night UBW and Fate stay night Heaven's feel take place different to each other. It's like it's an alternative to it's other so It's not related to each other exception to characters. Since it was Visual novel. there's 3 routes Fate (saber) Ubw (Rin) Heavens feel (Sakura)
To give you a little background on the anime: it comes from a visual novel, that's an interactive story, basically a game where you follow a story, make choices, and those choices lead to different endings. Fate/Stay Night is an Eroge, meaning it's an erotic visual novel (yep, the protagonist bangs the characters). Contrary to popular belief, the animes Fate/Stay Night, Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited BladeWorks and Fate/Stay Night: Heaven's Feel, are not remakes of each other, they're all depicting one of the 3 different routes (the choices that lead to an ending) of the original game, each with a different heroine, respectively Saber, Rin, and Sakura for Heaven's Feel. All the other series, with the exception of Fate/Zero that works as a prequel, are spin offs with no real connection with the main series.
In terms of which op is from what, the ones that say visual novel/realta nua refer to the original 2004 PC visual novel and it's rerelease. The ones that ended with episode cards are from the 2006 Deen adaptation of the first route of three. The rest were all the 2014 Ufotable adaptation of the 2nd route except the Heaven's Feel which was another from the visual novel.
What will really shock you, is this Animes ability to TEACH someone something. Every one of the Servants are historical, or Mythical legends. For Example, in Grand order one of the Servants is Jeanne D'arc. Its amazing the aspect it can play into the Anime. The Noble Phantasms tied directly to the characters make the fights the best in Anime.
7:40 all frosen around him because he is the cheat code on earth, the closest thing to a god by our ancient myth's and stories 9:31 what on he's hand? its a contract between him and the worrior fighting with him. 13:18 but i never seen him fight - go back 10 seconds he fight with the white hair with red/black clothes..
Okay, I'm only about half the video, but here's a really summed up and spoiler free version of the story just to give a little context. Fate/Stay Night is set in modern day Japan (2004 to be precise), but there's magic and mages living in secret. Every so often 7 mages summon each an heroic spirit (a hero or villian from history and legend), becoming master and servant respectively, to participate in the Holy Grail War with the objective of obtaining the holy grail, which is said to be a wish granting device. The 7 servants each belong to a specific class that fits the skills of the heroic spirit, being saber, archer, lancer, rider, assassin, caster and berserker. Masters can command and control their servant by using command spells, which are stored as a red seal in their hand. Shiro, the red haired boy and main protagonist, is the adoptive son of a mage and is therefore aware of magic, but despite his best efforts, he's not much of a mage, his magical power is very limited and because his adoptive father never shared much info with him, he's unaware of the Holy Grail War. That is until he becomes a witness of a battle between servants and is chased by one of them to be silenced. In order to defend himself, he ends up summoning the last missing servant for the war by accident. Now as the master of Saber, he has to participate in the Holy Grail War.
Fate Stay Night was originally a visual novel games with multiple endings based on player choices. The orginal Fate Stay night anime followed the "Sakura" story route and Unlimited Bladeworks followed the "Rin" Sotry Route
Fate Stay Night No Spoilers: It's an anime series based in 2 kind of sources Light Novels (format of book) and Visual Novel, a kind of game where you choose your path or way based on the story, making decisions. It became famous for its story in general, and then it became an anime where each story line (depending on your decisions) is shown in different seasons/films/ovas. This anime storyline is based on a parallel modern era, contains magic, and has magicians who are treated as summoners who summon famous people in history as combatants. This Anime/Visual Novel Story are the oldest one and became one of a lot of anime-series of the "Fate" Saga.
so, the best way to explain this, with trying to avoid spoilers as much as possible: Fate stay night started off as a visual novel with 3 routes - Stay Night, Unlimited Blade Works and Heavens Feel respectively. So the best way to picture it, is either like branching paths of fate or parallel universes, where a choice changes the overall outcome. With some slight spoilers, which are kinda necessary to get a base understanding to whats going on, there are 7 teams of 2(a master and a servant) and they fight to the death in a war. The prize at the end of that promises to fulfill their wish (something like an omnipotent wish granting relic). That is pretty much the most bare bones explanation I can manage without spoiling more. As for the other openings in the playlist, Hollow Ataraxia is pretty much a sequel to Stay night(all of the routes and its a vn), Fate/zero is a prequel to stay night, Fate extra is pretty much its own thing(also based on a game), Grand order diverges quite a bit and there is a mobile game for it(ie. tons of characters and loads of plot, sadly only chapter 0, 6, 7 and 8 got animated), Fate apocrypha(more servants, more masters, more death, bigger prize), Prisma Illia(magical girls, doing cute things, battle and questionable things(loli, yuri)), Fate Extella(another game, I think it ties in after extra), Case files of Lord El. Melloi the 2nd(detective, murder mystery) and Carnival Phantasm(yeah... its special). Im sure Im missing something, but if you want a better explanation of the Fate franchise, I would recommend Girguks video: Badly Explaining the ENTIRE Fate Series in 30 MINUTES He does a great job explaining it in my opinion. Good luck and welcome to the Fate rabbit hole :)
Long story short. Most of the OPs in this video are taken from the Visual Novel. In that game you play 3 routes: - Stay Night. The first one and the so caller Saber route. - Unlimited Blade Works. The second one that things seem just a little bit different. Also called the Rin route. - Heaven's Feel. The third and darkest route by a longshot. Here imagine that things went to 11 out of 10 in a few breaths time. Aptly called the Sakura route. Now some of the OPs here were from anime adaptations of said routes. For more in depth, think of Fate series as equivalent to the Avengers movies. Fate belongs to Nasuverse and Avengers belong to MCU. Hope that clears it a bit.
you should check out these openings in the future Noragami (openings and endings) Jujutsu Kaisen (openings) Akame Ga KIll all openings and endings (definitely endings too) Magi (openings) Classroom of the Elite (openings and endings ) Future Diary/Mirai Nikki (openings and endings)
Well, Fate Stay Night (FSN) is hard to understand for those who aren't really into the fandom. In the easy way, FSN is originally a visual novel game for pc. Because of that, have 3 "routes", when in each one are a main heroine who is the final goal to the protagonist: "Fate Route" aka Saber route, "Unlimited Blade Works" aka Rin route and "Heavens Feel" aka Sakura route. They made also the Realta Nua version of the game (with voice acting but without sex scenes), and also an anime series: Fate/Stay Night (2006) by studio DEEN, which adapt ed the "Fate route". Fate/Stya Night: Unlimited Blade Works, a movie in 2010 made by DEEN and a anime series in 2014 made by Ufotable Fate/Stay Night: Heavens Feel (2017 - 2020) a a trilogy of movies made by Ufotable
"Who's that minotaur / brute?" Heracles summoned as he was enraged. (Because the family of the summoner knew that if they summoned a hero such as Heracles in his right mind that he would undoubtedly realize they were exploiting his summoner and would rescue her from them, and they couldn't have that.) The actual minotaur of myth is also present in the Fate series as Asterios, but I don't think he's in any of the openings as anything more than a shadow.
The Fate franchise is definitely one of the most magnificent rabbit holes to find yourself trapped in. Whoever created this playlist for you, since they started you off at the very beginning with the VN OPs, I hope they also included the Tsukihime OPs, as while it's not technically Fate, it's still part of the Fate multiverse, and it's some of ReoNa's best work.
I think you should check out the op of Kokkoku. I haven't watched the show and from what I've heard it's apparently not particularly good, but the op is absolutely amazing and the vibe is immaculate. The full song is called flashback by myavi vs kenken.
Fate are those type of Anime that is actually dosent nessesarry tell which good guys or the bad guy, every single character there fighting for a reason that you will be the judge of it after you watch them all bcs diffrient perspective will give diffrient answer who is the good guys or the bad guys, who is ignorant or who is selfish at the end
Fate is heavily built on Multiple Universes. All Fate stay Night parts are built on Fate Zero, so that would hypothetically be what you'd have to watch first. But since certain Characters and interactions spoil Stuff that happens in Stay Night, some argue against it. I dunno much about Hollow Ataraxia, one other I know about is Fate Grand Order, which is another Universe entirely, but the Characters you see in other Fate titles basically all exist in that one
I thought the same thing, he closed his eyes right at the part, opened them at the perfect moment to not see him do anything and then wonders if he actually can fight.
Big kudos for trying to piece together a plot of any kind from these openings. The problem is that Fate/ has three different timelines based on the original visual novel, so anything labeled "Unlimited Blade Works" is going to have different main characters from the "Fate" or plain "Fate/Stay Night" openings. I did get a kick out of how you picked out Shirou (the dude in normal clothes) so easily as "out of place." He very much is.
About the good and bad characters, have you heard the line "In War there are no good people"yeah it's bullshit there are good people in war and they are guy in normal clothes aka Shirou Emiya Also wow i really didn't expect the openings from the actual visual novels, but that opens flood gates bigger than I can even imagine, now even the Tsukihime/Melty Blood openings aren't out of the table now!
It's hard to tell you something about Fate Series without spoilers.... but! Opening 9 in your playlist (Unlimited Blade Works op 2) is from Aimer "Brave Shine". Such a great song! One of my favorite songs of Fate series. There is more openings about these series. Fate/Zero, Fate/Apochrypha, Fate/Stay Night Last Encore, Fate/Grand Order Babylonia, and Lord El Melloi II Case Files
Really hope you get a chance to react to the Fate series anime, yeah it looks intimidating with the amount of shows it has but the story is fantastic and worth taking a look at.
It's sooooo difficult to talk about the Fate/ universe without spoilers or other things. I'll try my best. So, Fate/Stay Night is originaly an eroge, a game in the form of visual novel (a sort of story you read an in which you take decisions and choises while progressing in the story) with R18+ contents, for PC. The Realta Nua version was a porting of that VN for PSP, in which they added more content in the form of all the intros you saw in the video. The game consisted of 3 routes, named Fate, Unlimited Blade Works (UBW) and Heaven's Feel (HF), which are accessible depending on some choises you take in the first minutes of the story; the first time you play the game, you will play the routes in the above order. You can't suggest anything about the plot, but you guessed right about the main characters. We appreciate your efforts nontheless!! :D Only 4 of the opening you saw were from the anime. "Disillusion" and "Kirameku..." are the openings of the Fate route anime adaptation, but that adaption is really badly made. The 3rd and the 2nd from the last are the openings of the UBW route anime adaptation. It was made by Ufotable (the same of Demon Slayer), my favorite anime studio, and it's amazing. I recomend you to watch it. Heaven's Feel was adapted as a trilogy of films by Ufotable. They are amazing and recomended to be seen. Fate/Hollow Ataraxia is the sequel of Fate/Stay Night. It doesn't have an anime adaptation so far, but whoever played the game (this is also a VN) is hoping they will make one soon. Fate/Zero is a prequel of Fate/Stay Night. It has an anime adaptation (it is a light novel originaly) and must be seen AFTER Fate/SN because contains spoilers (it was written after Fate/SN) All others Fate/ series are spin-offs and stories that are possible only because of Fate/SN. I think I said pretty much all I could without spoilers or saying too much. Now it's your turn to watch the series, play the games and discover the narrative world of the Fate/ series. P.S: Sorry for my not so good English!!
I don't really know if people consider this a spoiler or not, but about the chronological order: Every two openings (or so, just depends on how long that particular series is) there is a different timeline, about what could've happened. Sometimes the series are in different universes and sometimes they're in the same or similar universes (sometimes at different times, like in the past or future). It's not really something to get hung up over, fate is notoriously hard to understand solely on it's timeline. The show is very easy to understand if you take every series for what it is.
Dude. The Fate franchise is massive and very interesting. The mobile game, Fate/Grand Order takes elements from as many self sustaining series (Stay Night, Zero, Apocrypha, etc.) and aggregates into a single massive story. The funny thing is, the franchise as a whole has sparked my interest in reading about actual world history, mythology and literature, as many characters are drawn from real world history like Charles Babbage, Nikola Tesla, Edward Teach, Florence Nightingale or Francis Drake, mythology like Heracles, Gilgamesh, Medusa or Ganesha, even literature ranging from children's stories to the Cthulhu Mythos by H.P. Lovecraft or One Thousand and One Nights (Arabian Nights) or even Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde or Frankenstein. The amount of content is huge and great if you want to entertain yourself. The best part is that you don't need to worry about the franchise's actual size, as most of the stories are self contained in their own little worlds, giving enough for anyone to understand and enjoy, but if you want more, well, there is a lot more to enjoy. Highly recommended. The best place to start would be precisely Fate/Stay Night. From there you can pick any other series.
"I never see him fight," - literally just saw him fight seconds previous. Dude gets so lost in the amazing music, can't blame him. (... it is funny, though...)
Fate/Stay Night is a urban fantasy thriller story that merges modern mages and "heroic spirits", legendary figures that humanity acknowledges in legends and human history summoned by the mages to fight a "Holy" Grail War for the Grail that can grant the winner of this death match a powerful unlimited wish, one for the mage that summoned the hero and one for the heroic spirit.
Nice reaction, should give a try to the Shakugan no Shana series as well a try, if you love Fate Series (it would have been fenomenal react as well for carnival phastasm, the 3 ending songs of Heavens Feel, Fate Zero or Fate Grand Order, even Kara no Kyoukai, all of them from the same studio, the great Ufotable, but all at the right time), then you really are gonna love that.
That lasi video ya watched needed the most attention paid. You missed the massive changes in that one, versus what you saw in about all of the other one. Heaven's Feel is peak fiction, and it is the truly "ooph" Fate branch.
Unlimited Bladeworks is more like the Directors cut version of Fate/Stay Night but it takes a different turn from the original and is the continuation of Fate/Zero and some of its darker themes the original did not have.
as some other comments mention you should listen to fate zero openings and also add last stardust, which plays in an important part of fate unlimited blade works
this was really interesting, to watch you make guesses with no context whatsover its fine. I'm surprised you reacted to the games intros, I thought you'd only react to the animated series intros only
fate originally was a visual novel (voiced book with pictures basically), and depending on your choices there would be 3 different outcomes (routes), first one is fate route, 2nd one is unlimited blade works and last one is heavens feel. So its a pick your own adventure sort of thing where things will happen differently and have different endings. Some characters that oppose you in one route could end up being your closest ally on another, and someone that acted and was potrayed as righteous the whole time turns out to be really evil. You should totally watch gigguk's video on "trying to understand the fate series" lol (the guy that made attack on titan in 9 minutes)
you could have just ignored all the PC/console Op and just concentrated on the ANime Ops Fate/Stay Night is originaly a PC Game with 3 main routes, which story line is different and focus on other female chars. 2006 came the first anime out covering the main route Stay Night from Type Moon. A few years later they made a movie about the second route "Unlimited Bladework" Much later Ufotable did make a Unlimited Bladework reboot with 24 eps. They also animated the last route Heavens Feel into 3 movies. Fate/Zero is also done by them and tells teh story 10 years before Fate/Stay Night
Hi, so this isnt a spoiler. I am answering the question you had about these series being seasons or whatever. There is no spoilers on the events of the series whatsoever. I was afraid this would be taken as a spoiler however so just in case its down here. I have also put down a kind of order to watch it in. The Fate anime that make up the OG fate/stay night series, those being Stay Night, Unlimited Blade Works and Heavens Feel are all different timelines covering the same series of events. As for the events of the series, you can watch and find out. The Fate story is incredible and the 3 sections of this particular series all delve deep into characters and the world. While these cover the same events, Unlimited Blade Works expects you to have already seen Stay Night and Heavens feel expects you to have already seen the others. Therefore it is reccomended to be seen in that order.
heavy spoilers about the fighters identities... down below so i though you would like to know the blond girl with the sword is KING ARTHUR, in a world king arthur was always a woman instead of man. the blue hair, blue armor, red spear is Cu Chulainn. the infamous watch-dog savage unstopable worrior of irland the white hair, red and black cloths... he's identity created for the sake of the show and wasnt base on historical/mythological figure. the long pink blindfold girl, is the gorgon Medusa from greek mythology the caped purple lady is Madea, the divine witch of greek mythology the huge behemoth, that always with small white hair girl is the infamous Herculess/Heracless and the blue hair samurai is a legendary samurai came from books and not from out folklore as strait up mythology but never the less... the most creative beauty and deadly samurai Sasaki Koujiro all of them summoned to japan for a royal battle.. and that about 90% of Fate plot
Like, this show is insanely good with it's animations. The better looking sequel to Fate/Stay Night is made by Ufotable (Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works or UBW; they also did Fate/Zero which is a prequel to Fate/Stay Night), who also did stuff like Demon Slayer which went mainstream on twitter and other social medias for it's animation. It's a good series but it has a very confusing timeline with all the different universes and points in time which some Fate stuff takes place in. Also the Unlimited Blade Works opening 2, Brave Shine, I sung by Aimer, who also sang the opening song for Demon Slayer season 2.
It’s tough to get a good feel of fate from the openings here’s a good idea of what’s it’s about that I’ve made to explain to friends “In a battle royal to the death 7 mages each summon forth a heroes legend and myth as their servant to compete in the Holy Grail War, the last surviving pair, win the grail which will grant any one wish”.
Not all of Fate is about Holy Grail Wars. But many of them included though. FGO is basically traveling back and forth to the past and future, Extra does have Holy Grail Wars, but it's more focused on the Moon Cell and BB ( and Kiara ), Hollow Ataraxia is just almost pure slice-of-life, Case Files of Ell-Melloi is a CSI detective Fate, and Fate/Requiem is more about Voyager and Erice than anything else.
Yeah I know, but most it’s probably the best description of most of the fate franchise, that doesn’t take 5-10 minutes to explain. I think it works as the short version, at least better than the “short” version
Many people say the original first season isn't needed but if you start watching from Fate zero you'll be spoiled essentially and also even tho Stay night got re done with Fate Stay night Blade works i think you still have to chrck the original season if not for following the story as intended at least for the music which i think is even better then s.2 ans onward. Also Fate has several spin offs and Fate Apocrypha is very good even without the context of the rest
We never talk about 2005 fate especially the dragon scene😂 I mean it’s good but not 10/10. But there’s 3 routes or plot telling the 2005 is sabers route, fate ubw is rins route, and fate hf is Sakuras route
Ironically Fate/Stay Night is like one of the smallest installments in the entirety of Type-Moon ( in according to lores ) beside other things like Apocrypha and Type-Moon. Things like GO and Extra is just straight up mind-r*pes.
Lore-wise, Fate/Stay Night is one of the biggest, probably the second biggest after Fate/Grand Order due to the visual novel telling the stories of 45 timelines.
@@gilgameshlfx7006 Wait, maybe I was writing my comment using the wrong words. What I meant was the accessibility of the aforementioned stories ( you can get all those 45 endings easily including those 3 routes in Stay Night in just one visual novels, but stories like Extra and FGO you need to get around the entire franchise as these stories has been incredibly expanded and has been crossed with other stories in the franchise too ( like Extra crossing lores with FGO in LB5 ).
@@eclipsewaves I don't understand. Extra is a standalone. It's extending from F/SN but it didn't go further. Extella is a standalone too. Just like Extra, it extend from F/SN. But between Extra to Extella, there isn't anything except sharing same characters.
@@joezaster4978 well because fate zero is of diff timeline/grailwar than fsn that's why the diff name is what i think.. that vid is just like you deduce fsn related only
Its a visual novel with 3 different routes/timelines ... Fate route, Unlimited blade works and heaven's feel.... thats all u need to know... react to the other songs, most are dope
Know it's a bit of semantics, but it'd be more correct to say animation or visuals instead of graphics. Animation for nice movement and visuals when the drawings and color palettes are pleasing to look at
Fate/stay night is based on a Visual novel witch is a game with multiple paths and ends. So every new subtitle means a different path that they are adapting. Stay Night(2006) the old one they mix all original paths, making a big boring filler because animation is old and low quality. So its better to watch the new ones cause it's way much better. (They have better songs too).
Hey, maybe you'd like to react to The World Ends With You openings? It's also a game franchise, though it has far less openings then Fate. It has an anime adaptation too. Here's a playlist for all the openings of the series: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WjiaMBUQdqc.html
