Bang Chan's continual fight against upper clothing 😂 This is one of my favourite tracks purely because it's a big FU to people saying their music is just noise. Great reaction.

The Korean name for this song is sorikkun which loosely translates as "professional noise makers". During the kingdom reality competition show before this album they were criticized for making "noise music" so this was their clap back after winning that show. Been really enjoying the reactions as a fairly new stay myself it has been great to find someone who is also just scratching the surface of this incredible group

"You know when you love something and get so inspired by it you want to do something about it, but you can't". YES. I DO. My Stray Kids journey is not much longer than yours. I found them A MONTH AGO, but have done a deep dive into SKz, k-pop, and the fandom (SKz are my first k-pop experience). I can now identify all their voices just listening to songs (not just Felix, heh), I know and love all eight group members (I have multiple biases, but ALL of them are bias wreckers), and I think I've watched every single reaction on the internet, lmao. I love watching other people discover them like I did. As for the inspiration -- I'm an author. I'm doing NaNoWriMo right now, and my WIP might never see the light of day beyond my computer screen, but it's a K-Pop-meets-urban-fantasy-meets-Harper-Hall-trilogy storyline (I'm sure NO ONE will know what that means, and that's okay.) It is 100% not a marketable idea. It's a weird mash-up my brain came up with to deal with the insane level of creative inspiration Stray Kids have impacted me with. So yes, I get exactly what you are saying! 🤣Also, you can always identify Bang Chan as the guy either barely wearing a shirt, or exposing his midriff. For someone so shy about it off-stage and screen, he sure loves to spoil us Stays with his abs. Sorry for the long paragraph. Love your reaction to this amazing video! Not sure if it’s been mentioned but “Thunderous” uses some traditional Korean percussion and the MV incorporates historic Korean settings. Stray Kids was reacting to criticism (mostly homegrown) that their music was “noisy” and full of abrasive sounds. The use of traditional Korean instrumentation and cultural landmarks is a brilliant response! ⚡️⚡️⚡️

I'm going to leave you a list of stuff that makes up Skz story line. I'm going to include some songs I think are part of the story, but not quite. I'll put them in brackets. And yes. The trailers & teasers I list are needed for the story. Hellevator isn't needed, but it is very important for people to watch. Helevator was made before they even debut as part of the Survival Show that they went through to prove they could debut as one group. And parts of it are seen through out the story line.(I can't remember if people have told you, but SKZ were a 9 member group at the beginning. At just under 2 years into their journey one of them, Woojin, left. You will see Woojin in older videos. He was present till Double Knot. He has a lovely voice, and I wish him well on his solo career. A lot of Stay ignore his existence because of how he left.) (Hellevator) I Am Not trailer District 9 (Mirror could go here, but it's not completely in the story line) Voices Grow Up My pace I Am You Victory Song Performance Video Miroh Cle 2: Yellow Wood trailer Side Effects Teaser 1 Side Effects Double Knot (Astronaut is technically next, but it's also a split in the story line again. The group from this one end up in space & go on to the song TOP where they have a conclusion of a sorts for their story. So their path is up to Double Knot, then Astronaut, and finally TOP. The main story skips this, and goes on to Levanter Trailer.) Cle: Levanter Trailer Levanter Go Live Trailer Stray Kids Prequel: Highlight Reel Gods Menu In Life Trailer Back Door I think that's the end of the official story line. Stray Kids consider Gods Menu as their new beginning, and the story shows it. After that, they take many different routs in their story & music. We are also all in awe and don't know what to say about this song. Maybe all their songs. Their superior MV productions and choreography always make me enjoy the song even better.

I suck at explaining things and right now I feel like my English is lacking, but I'll try. I don't remember nor I know if someone else said this but: Thunderous is from the album NOEASY. There is an album trilogy with which they wordplayed (if it makes sense). So we have: 1. NOEASY 2. ODDINARY 3. MAXIDENT NOEASY- On the album cover "E" and "A" are somehow hidden and an "I" it could be more seen. So we have "NOEASY" and "NOISY". Plus "Noeasy" pronounced fast it's heard like "noisy". And if I got it right, the main theme is like a diss for haters, as Thunderous is. They were criticised by being said their music are just some loud noises or whatever. But there are also songs with deep messages in the songs and I think I will write them into another comment. ORDINARY- Odd+Ordinary. Maniac and Venom are from this album. And I could say the main themes are the judgment from the society by being different is a bad thing and toxicity. MAXIDENT- Maximum+Accident. Well, I guess I can say the main theme is love. Case 143 is from it. Now, I might be wrong with some things and I didn't tell all of the meaning. This is what I've understood and people can tell other opinions or correct my mistakes. Also, this is not the only album trilogy. Their discography is pretty big. They started with a pre-debut single. Hellevator- single(pre-debut) I am trilogy: I am NOT (they realised those are not their true selves) I am WHO (they began to find their true selves) I am YOU (actually I don't know exactly what to say at this one- I guess they- My head hurts...After an 1 hour break from writing this I ready. I think I am YOU is about them going through that path together and how they understand each other, how they are in the same positions. Or they are even more confused and lost. Many times their messages are interpretable and that's why I searched on Google: About “I am YOU” 2 contributors Stray Kids' I am YOU is an album that contains 8 tracks, including title song “I am YOU.” It is an album that depicts the uneasiness of youth, but 'I' grows through YOU - a touching, hopeful message. Thank you, Google. Clè (key in French) trilogy: Clé: MIROH Clé: Yellow Wood Clé: Levanter I want to add something about Levanter. During that time is was kinda tough. In the beginning they were 9. But one of them, Woojin, left. They were afraid for their career because they didn't know what it will happen, what fans will think. (This is also what I understood) It was a new start. But they actually felt their truly new start was "God's Menu". Mixtape: Gone Days-single SKZ2020- It came out before GO LIVE(God's Menu's album) and there are some their old songs, but ot8 versions, not ot9. Mixtape: On Track TOP and SLUMP- Are 2 tracks for an anime called Tower of God. TOP is the op and SLUMP the ending. I think they have Japanese, Korean and English versions. The new beginning started with a duo: GO LIVE (In this is God's Menu) Basically, with God's Menu they've found themselves and their real sound/music. IN LIFE (In this is Back door) ALL IN- Japanese album Going Dumb-single in collaboration with Alesso and CORSAK Mixtape: OH-single Wordplay triology: NOEASY ODDINARY MAXIDENT SKZ2021- It came out between NOEASY (2021) and ODDINARY (2022) and there are also some their old songs, but ot8 versions, not ot9. Scars- I think it's a single Christmas EveL- contains Christmas EveL, 24 to 25, Winter Falls and Domino English ver. (Just as SKZ2021 I think they came out between those 2 albums) CIRCUS-Japanese album and a song named after it, it came out in 2022 between ODDINARY and MAXIDENT. Mixtape: Time out-single SKZ-REPLAY- It's just one song in it with the whole group, FAM Korean version. The rest of it are solo songs, subunits releases, duo releases, etc. THE SOUND- Japanese album STAR- we don't know for sure if it's a trilogy because only on is out and the second will come on 11th November. 5-STAR ROCK-STAR From what I've understood in 5-STAR, they are showing their uniqueness, the results of their work and how they goal was to become special, not to chase after special things. Now I know, I didn't express myself very well so I put here one of Han's verses from S-Class: "Be the one to shine instead of chasing after what's shiny". They also express how special they are and one of the reasons is because they're different and they're okay with it, they're not afraid to show they're different, even though from other people perspective they're odd. And ROCK-STAR...Damn...This comeback hit me so bad and so much and it didn't even arrived...I feel like it's gonna be really huge. It has a lot to do with the lore. It's so much and I feel like my brain is damaged... You can watch the Prologue and the unveil tracks that came out. They feel like movies. And there are a lot of theories. And the last realeses: Social Path- single in collaboration with LisA. She's a well known Japanese singer. It came out after 5-STAR. All my life- single in collaboration with Lil Durk. I'm really sorry for my bad explanations and if I have mistakes. They have more Japanese and English versions that, but I didn't write them. Besides them I hope I didn't miss anything...I am not sure about the Mixtapes or other collaborations as a group. Just really my taste, good noise music 😄 Especially with the MV and whole concept with the traditional korean elements! Probs to you for catching the drawing of Felix after the first chorus 🙌🏼 Not many recognize it at the beginning but it's such a cool detail! And I would actually love to see you drawing frames from Thunderous 👀 Regarding the members, it's totally normal that you can't recognize all of them just yet! You're already doing pretty good though 😁 For recognizing them better and getting to know more of their personality, you could watch some of their non-music stuff or funny compilations. I think reacting to their song FAM would be a good idea too. The MV is a cut from one of their concert performances and they introduce each other in age order in the song. What maybe would be cool too, would be the Making Videos for the MVs if you're interested in the behind the scenes (+ it's funny as well & you get to know them better). But pls don't get overwhelmed! Maybe when you react to songs, instead of watching without subtitles first and then with, you could just find a lyric video to do first so that you could focus on the lyrics and song sound, and then watch the mv to just take in the visuals as well. this is still, after all this time and all their songs, one of my absolute faves, both sound-wise and the MV! As other Stays said, they have a lot of deep songs and, yeah, Thunderous is not really one of them, but it's absolutely amazing. So I'll put some of their deep songs: Hellevator (pre-debut) District 9 (debut song) Spread my wings Chronosaurus Side effects Awaken B me Silent Cry- It's a very sad song, but the choreography...Heh:)) Lonely St. Streetlight Deep End by Felix Social Path: the song starts with the lyrics "Gave up my youth for my future/I just want to rise up stronger" and it's about their journey as trainees and idols and Chan's experience with how people come and go. And each member's screen time expresses a fear.
