I still use CDs in my car, so I guess I'm old school then.😂 The music actually slaps harder from a CD source, more than it does via Bluetooth, from my experiences .👍
Man i didn't even get to the music part yet and i already am impressed i like systems like this they look super clean i love it when older gentlemen take pride in their builds not old well aged BOSS beautiful i respect my elders and i respect thoses skills gotta love now im going to listen to it [☣✌💪🔈✌💪🔉✌💪🔊☣]
WOW that SHIZNIT is a beautiful setup i love it it's clean sounds AWESOME and it is under powered i really love the way he has his mid and horns on top of the box looks AMAZING he did a Phenomenal job on the build 💯PERCENT 👍🏼👍🏼[✌🏽💪🏽🔈✌🏽💪🏽🔉✌🏽💪🏽🔊 ]
Great idea I always wanted to do the same , 20 years ago I had 3 15s and 4 6.5 and 2 super tweeters facing out the back of a 97 expedition and it was awesome for parties 👍🏻
I know there is lots of bass being blocked with that mids and compression drivers box closing off half the space. Check out mine. 10 rockville k9 12s lots of prv mids ds18 compression drivers. No wall
hello Jacob love your vids, have a question, im a 2nd gen dj who has been arround high spl pro audio sytems sine a young age, as well as into pro audio and pews . well the question si how do your ears handle it? after all these years of such high spls, i do not understand how you guys as well as other deal with such spls with damage?
i liled the build but if you feel your under power why arent you strapping those skat amps ? you could be doubling your watts. just my opinion . the system looked like it has enough power. mount those dash speaker in the a pillar.
cd quality is the best I cant lie. It’s direct to the stereo opposed to a “wireless connection “ or aux cord. Shit, a tape deck wit the aux wire hit harder than Bluetooth lol. I mean in my opinion but what do I know.
Wow one 12 inch sundown sa will do 145 db with ratted 750 rms 🤦🤦🤦 nice build but i would get rid of the Skarbage and go Brazilian . Either Taramps or Sound digital . I did and omg talking about a difference. Of course i had to upgrade my electrical to a brand x270 alt an one gauge big three
@UZS DC idk if maybe Savard HiQ subs were hard to find 5 months ago or not but I know I was looking at them on Amazon yesterday. Didn't seem like there was any shortage. Atleast not that I noticed. UZS DC ya wanna talk about a subwoofer that's hard to find then let's mention the Skar DNR Series subwoofer. Bet I can find you a half dozen HiQ 12s before you can find me a single Skar DNR 15.... Wanna make a wager? 🤪
Good video but let the music play NORMAL at lease for a few to see the quality in slow mo its hard its good for the Flex but not for quality just a constructive suggestion ✌🏽
@Django then you are just listening to the wrong rap. Get out of the mainstream garb & actually listen to the real rap artists of today. There are so many bada** rappers in 2020 its hard to keep up with them all. Your comment is 100% FALSE.
Love those subs. Dont like the skar tweets, i got the same ones and they hiss too much. Swapped them for the orions . Much better and not any price difference.
@@hoyt_arms 3 sets before i gave up. Im old af too so take that into consideration too. I always liked silk domes but they cant keep up with my system now. Love skar but i prefer orion or prv or timpano over their tweets. They may be fine for some but mine are mounted head level. Got to be super clean to sound right.
@@FlowYork the cobalt series sounded very good but didnt last. I have the xtr series now and they are great and handle the power ,but i also got the rockville bullet tweets and they are doing great for the price. The xtrs where @100 bucks for a pair and the rockville is around 40..
Hell Parker from RU-vid does low 140s with a single budget 12. If you asked me to spend that much money on all that equipment just the pull in low 40s is sad
Exactly, I've got a vintage Lightning strike VC2 12, on a RF T500bdcp, 500w rms and run a consistent 137-138 db. Honestly I don't care for the sound bar, seems as though it would have a negative effect of Soundwave travel from the box and rear port.
I'd bet any amount of money that it meters quite a bit more than 144. I was getting 143.6 out of 2 piece of shit L5s in a Super Bass probox on 1200wrms on stock charging 15 years ago. If it didn't meter 148 at the absolute minimum I would scrap that box and try again. Port area looks awfully small for that many 12s of course I have no idea how big it actually is or what the dimensions are on any of it so I'm just saying it appears that way. But I know the Savards will do their job and we'll if you put them in the right box
@@hittinone meters work differently now than they did 15 years ago 15 years ago they were microphone meters and a 144. 15 years ago would be at 134 now. There's about 10 DB difference between the old style meters in the meters without nowadays will I agree with you dude should should be beating a lot harder
@@danielmcbride4828 termlab numbers from back then are no different than they are today. I have been running 152+ Db daily drivers setups for many years. Termlab scores are not 10db higher back then then they are now.
@@hittinone oh I didn't know you were using the term lab maybe I'm thinking like 25 years ago are 20 years ago when they used to use the microphone and stand up against your front window
Wow I really hopefully y'all misspoke when you said that will only do a 143 because that's pathetic if you ask me I got two Kicker 12s in a sealed box in my truck that will do a 144.8. And 140 on music
I understood him to say 1 1500.1 amp per sub. With his voltage being low and after impedance rise I would guess no more than 8 or 900 watts per sub if that.
@@kathygarber3230 I'm not really sure what he has after watching again. He does say he has (6) amps and they're 1.5ks. Then says he could have one amp per sub even though he has (6) subs. He must have misspoke.
Somebody needs to explain to him about imaging and sound stage cause he doing highs mids all wrong! You never want the music to sound like it’s coming from behind you it’s supposed to sound like your at a concert in a studio not driving away from one! And 142db? I’m at 151db on 2 DC audio LVL4 12’s on DC audio 2k but I am in a tiny hatch so that helps a lot I’m sure it would be nothing much In a big vehicle like his! Takes a lot of cone area to move air around that big vehicle like I do in my tiny one! I feel like I’m locked in a phone booth with a gorilla it just all goes blurry and sounds so good!
Real CDs sound way better in a system than Bluetooth and playing it through your phone. I wasn't equalizer master. I know how to make a system sound fully balanced.
I have to say the mids and highs look hideous, especially sitting on top of the dashboard, cut holes in the dashboard and put them in there. And for the rear ones put them in the back doors. I love systems that are super loud and clear but looks stock
