Crooked is one of the most famous songs in Korea and one of the most recognizable K-pop songs internationally. A K-pop anthem. With that said, no one has ever said said this was a copy of a BEP song. If it's as obvious as you claim, then how come no one else has made that connection? (People are always quick to criticize GD so if this is really as similar as you say, it would have been made into a huge issue) Anyways, you should check out the lyrics before you write this off as a copy. It's actually a sad song with very relatable lyrics - a theme in a lot of GD's music. "Nothing lasts forever, in the end you changed." "Leave me alone, I was alone anyway" "The main characters of the movie called this world is you and me. A lonely island, lost and wandering. Unlike my heart, the weather is so damn nice" "I want to hide my pain and become even more crooked. So you can feel sorry. I'll spit towards the sky" "You're scared of my crude words and rough eyes but actually, I'm afraid. I want to go back but I have nowhere to go. I want to love but I have no one to love." Please don't be so quick to disregard an artist's craft and throw out accusations like that.

I actually go out my way to check out that bep song... i don't know what you smoked or what you got stuck inside your ear to say it sound exactly the same😂

G dragon is the king of kpop. For many reasons. He's versatile. He sings, raps, dances, produces and writes many songs. I disagree with your "opinion" that he stole this song. I'll give you another song. Better yet I'll give you two songs that showcase his creativity and versatility. G dragon's who you mv and g dragon's a boy mv

It's my first time checking your channel. I just watched your Taemin reaction and was glad that you were so impressed by him. So I came to see what you thought of G-Dragon. Crooked is a hugely famous and popular song. It's a shame you didn't like it, nothing wrong in that, it's your personal taste. What is not very nice though is to repeatedly say its "terrible" and "bs". I went and listened to that BEP song. I've never heard it before, so listening with fresh ears. It didn't sound anything like Crooked. It has a "feel good" out partying sound, whereas G-Dragon's song has an angry, sad, punk angst mood. G-Dragon is a musical and creative genius, as you would find out if you heard more of his songs. He really does not need to steal or copy anyone else's material. You are fortunate that V.I.Ps (the fandom name) are pretty chill and civil. If you continue to word your views in that way, and make such accusations, in your reactions to other artists, a lot of those fandoms are going to eat you alive.

You made a big mistake on this one. Even BEP would be angry with you if they knew. Most artists in the states know G-Dragon and his music, you were out of line accusing him of stealing BEP music.

Which Black Eyed Peas song do you mean when you say it is a carbon copy of? I am a fan of them. Is it "I gotta feeling?" You mentioned the oohwoo (it sounds dif in each song and is a general sound used in '000s, maybe mils. of songs.) I agree, both mv's show people going out on the town - but for very different experiences - BEP is a group of friends going out to let off steam after working. GD's is about a person running away from pain. Also in BEP song they do have a lyric about jumping out that sofa (prob meaning to get off of the sofa and actually do something instead) and GD literally jumps off of a sofa in his mv - but there is no lyrical ref to it. The lyrics and premise of the songs are very different. BEP song is upbeat and they sing/rap about tonight being a good night, going out to spend their money, have a good time and partying every day. GD's song is a sad one "nothing lasts forever. In the end you changed. There's no reason, no sincerity. Take away such a thing as love. Tonight I'll be crooked. Leave me alone. I was alone anyway. I have no-one. Everything was meaningless. Take away the sugarcoated comfort. Tonight I'll be crooked. In the mv he goes out on the town to cause trouble/fights and try to run away from his pain - but as the mv progresses he can't escape it. The lyrics say "I didn't know being alone would be this hard" You see him crying and then collapsing. Both songs use synth - but BEP is more dance pop genre whereas GD's is more pop/rock/punk (he even wears sex pistols and black flag T shirts in the mv.) I like both songs - and to me they def do sound different; but I respect your right to your opinion too. Tbe Beatles released a song called "I've got a feeling" and apart from the very similar song titles, there is some lyric wording and flow resemblance to the BEP song in that which maybe gave some inspiration to BEP? (or maybe not) Genre wise the Beatles song is not pop/dance like BEP - more like a form of rock. Both imo also sound dif - just like the BEP and GD songs do. As Ed Sheeran said - there are only 12 notes. I am sure GD knew of the BEP and they may or may not have been an influence on his music - but I personally hear very noticeably different songs.

First this song was done in the style of old school British punk. 2nd Will I Am has worked on several songs with G Dragon as well as helping with the production of one of his solo albums.

I listen to all BEP all the time but i never heard similarity this song with BEP song? Usually if sound familiar you can snap it, but that never come in my mind when i listen to crooked

1. For older KPop videos I beg of you to search for a video as the title, Crooked W/ENGLISH SUBS or shortened, Crooked with Eng Sub. If you don't know the lyrics you can't really judge a song fairly. Back in the day, fans were the ones who added subtitles to videos. Or you could look up a lyric version of the song after watching the mv to see what the artist was saying. Taeyang's lyrics are so meaningful I really feel like you missed out by not watching the right mv. 2. Be super careful about accusing artists of plagiarism. Lots of labels will sue and/or get you banned for a lot less than what you said. 3. GDragon's company has sued MANY people over the years. So has BTS' company, as they were often accused of plagiarism as well. 4. Never a good idea to piss off a whole fandom. You are of course allowed to have an opinion and to dislike someone or their music. But before writing off someone who is the equivalent of Michael Jackson to the KPop scene, you might want to listen to at least two or three songs before dismissing him as an artist. Seriously, like Michael Jackson, GDragon has been performing since he was 3 years old and he's considered a musical prodigy. He wrote one song in about 17 seconds on a game show that is still considered one of the best TROT songs ever written. 5. I looked at the sheet music of I Gotta Feeling and Crooked and they weren't the same notes or chord on the page. Maybe you were just equating the vibe as being the same? Or was it further into the song that you were thinking of? TBH, the sheet music was only free for one page so I didn't get past that first page! LOL 6. I hope you don't give up on GD or BigBang just yet or because of the negativity in the comments. I think something that reactors don't understand is that the fans of these groups are just like die-hard sports fans. Like those people whose whole lives revolve around tailgating and painting their faces in the Dallas Cowboy or LA Lakers colors, it's pointless to talk smack about their team, they're going to think you're wrong. Ok I can get why you think there are some similarities with BEP I Gotta Feeling. There's a superficial resemblance, but nowhere near as close as you suggested. Crooked is more punk than the BEP song and it's meaning is completely the opposite. It's about someone breaking down because their relationship has imploded. If there is a resemblance, it's probably because Will.i.am had an interest in Kpop at the time Crooked came out and he did some work with 2NE1, Bigbang's sister group (G-Dragon is the leader of Bigbang).

It's one thing to not like the song, but to demean GDragon's work without even googling the lyrics, shouts ignorance You also blatantly stated that he plagiarised the song or 'stole BEPs music' with absolutely no evidence whatsoever. Crooked has been out over 10 years now and has over 200million views and no one has ever likened the song any BEPs music. Gdragon is not only a tastemaker for Korean music and culture, he is a widely celebrated lyricist, producer, designer, entrepreneur and a professor at one of Korea's top universities. You should do your research and apologise.
