Plant more trees along side your house, so when there's a severe storm to prevent from landslide, and it will look more beautiful!. love your new house!
I adore so much to this couple. You can see them both really working hard to secure their future in the Philippines. Especially Finn who could choose to have a very good life in Iceland but somehow found his home in the Philippines with Sherlyn. Likewise to Kyle “kulas” found his home in the philippines. Finn and Kulas i think are directing their life to the same direction. I support this two vloggers since they have few hundreds subscribers. God bless you!
If your newly purchased sapling endured a rough night of windy, wet weather, you might notice it is now leaning. Knowing how to fix a leaning tree in this situation can save your tree from growing crooked or possibly dying. If the soil is still wet, it shouldn’t be too hard to do, but it the soil dried out, you can soak it with a garden hose first. Here are the steps you can follow: Use a mallet or sledgehammer to drive 2-3 stakes into the ground, at a 45-degree angle, around the tree. Take care not to place them too close to the tree to avoid hitting the rootball. Push the tree upright using even pressure along the trunk. This could take more than one person if the tree is already a decent size. If the tree was already fairly rooted, this may take a bit of effort, but use slow, steady pressure to avoid damaging the trunk or branches. Use straps meant for staking a tree (found at the hardware store) and secure the tree to the stakes. Using straps that are wide and made of canvas is ideal to avoid damaging the tree. Never use rope, cables, or barbed wire as this will harm the tree and leave it susceptible to disease and pests. Check the position of the tree after you’ve tied the straps to the stakes and reposition if necessary by tightening one side or the other to get it fully upright. If the soil around the base of the tree has shifted, gently push it down to keep the roots protected, and further support the tree. Give the tree time to anchor itself in the new position. You may want to keep an eye on it for the first several months, especially if it has been windy or rainy, to ensure the straps haven’t come loose, allowing the tree to lean again.
Am super kilig with your excitement. You both are blessed 😇and it feels good to see you enjoying the fruits of your hard work🤩Beautiful FinnLyn Palace with certainly million dollars scenery around and beyond.
Perhaps after everything is finished maybe your next future project is to have a little one running around your property to add more color to your family
Hello there Finn! I'm unsure if your area often experiences strong storms, but considering the number of exposed glass doors, I recommend installing brackets that would allow you to easily slide plywood panels into place to serve as storm shutters.🙂👌
Hi Finn and Sherlyn. I admired you both in making your dream home come true. Also your ecology project, planting trees, fruit, vegetables and animals etc. looking after the environment and planet that we all lived in. You both are inspirations to us all. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. Good luck to all your projects and thank you for choosing Philippines as your home with your beautiful wife. Take care and god bless you both always. 🙏😊❤️
Finn & Sherlyn … almost there. Beautiful home with great views. What else could one ask for? Fantastic! If I may make a suggestion, if you are not going to drain the pool again I would suggest adding algecide to the pool to prevent algae buildup.
So Delighted to see you and Sherlyn in your swimming pool soaking in the rain. I had tears of Joy for the both of you . God is so Good. Stay Blessed.❤️❤️❤️
The most anticipated moment! At last you did it, guys, even when the water's half-full. Couldn't resist, huh! You both were like little children playing in the pool, so carefree and funny, haha! The sound of your laughter was filling the screen and found myself laughing along with you guys. Ah! It feels good to be alive and enjoying life. Lots of fruit-bearing trees, something to look forward to in the future. And you and Sherlyn be blessed with small feet running around your beautiful house. Always stay safe and God bless us all.
Hi Finn & Sherlyn, your home is so BEAUTIFUL. Have a lovely life together. We’re sohappy & proud of you both. May God bless, guide & protect you both always. From USA
Wow, beautifully finished house-congratulations to you both! Yes, I couldn't agree more that domestic pets should be spayed or neutered by responsible pet owners-this is to avoid a bunch of stray cats and dogs out in the street! So lovely that you two are setting an excellent example for the community👏💕
Finn, Sherlyn, and Jake's team, it is great to see you enjoying the house. As far as your tree, at times, cutting the tip is the only solution to slow down the growth, and aventually new branches will grow after the tree strengthens itself. As far as the cats 🐈 they will enjoy the pool if you get them in water early as kitties 😸 enjoy
@@FinnSnowVlogs you're welcome, FinnSnow. Check with Kumar about gardening, he is doing a good job behind Kyle's house, including using composting and other techniques.
swimming pool is looking great, :-). Thanks for sharing, makes me more excited visiting Philippines, :-) (July, which is , yeah, rainy season) :-), I miss that as well, shower under the Philippines' rain hehehe.
I love how you controlled all the water to use it that’s great, not sure on the monotony tree if you top it off ? Find out from a knowledgeable person. The house looks great you’ve created a real plantation congrats Finn n Sharlyn
I love how you guys bless your pool. Heaven on earth ~ your own pool with the help of rain. Sherlyn is the best. A true filipina beauty. Enjoy your beautiful home.
Hello Finn and Sherlyn, avid ko since then, here in Jeddah. KSA just a piece of advice about ur Narra tree, just put a steel pipe, tied up to the main tree so it will be stronger while growing up..
For your nara tree that's still has a skinny trunk, drive 1 or 2 long narrow post next to it but sturdy (like a 2" x 2") without damaging root ball then tie trunk to posts until trunk is thick enough to stay upright.
Good morning Lovely Couple. It's exciting first dive in your pool. Beautiful house, sceneries & soon the trees will grow fast, & the vegg you planted. The cats are nuetered...good. Hello to Jake & Thor nxt time for the boys😘🐕😘🐕✌💖
Everything is beautiful♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ With regards to the narra tree, plug in a long piece of wood or a bamboo next to the tree, Just make sure that it is deep so it will be sturdy, then tie the plant loosely. You can use a screw to hold the rope ir string in place so that it will not slide down. You can wait till the tree reach at least 3m high before you cut the tip to encourage growth of branches. This should slow down the growth of trunk vertically but it should become thicker to hold new branches. I hope this helps.
Really nice to see how all your hard work, sacrifices and effort have finally rewarded and given u guys the fruits of your labor. It’s a great feeling! Power on! lol
I remember your dau vlog the water and your reaction because its cold hahahahaha im happy to see you enjoying little things! That's the true joy and happiness...keep it up guys
Put a tree cage around your Nara tree long enough to support and protect it from bowing from the wind. Tree cage also serve as a brace in training the tree to grow i straight. Your trees are vulnerable to bowing from where the wind blows because there are no other tall trees or structures that covers and acts as a natural windbreaker. It should have been planted away from where the wind typically blows. Tying also helps from breaking it. Just be sure it has balance
Please put a support piece of long wood to support your Narra tree when it's still young. Thar's what we do with the Maple trees here in Canada when the gov't planted the young trees. Good luck.❤❤❤
HI FINN AND SHERLN, CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR SWIMMING POOL, YOU HAVE A BEAUTIFUL HOUSE, ITS YOUR FIRST SWIM, AND SHERLN IS LOVING IT, I AM ENJOYING WATCHING BOTH OF YOU, “GOD” bless you both, and just let you know, I AM ALWAYS PRAYING FOR BOTH OF YOU and SHERLN FOR MORE BLESSINGS (beautiful children/ your fruit of love with SHERLN)
Drive a bamboo pole beside your narra tree, then tie the tree to the pole to control the tree as it grows...then maybe prune the early branches to get a nice long straight tree in the future.
You can install a robot swimming pool cleaner like Mikey Bustos used in his swimming pool. It will save you a lot of time and effort to clean the pool. Love your house. It's slowly coming to life. Your dreams are coming true. Take care and God bless you and Sherlyn and everyone.❤❤❤
For your trees You have to use long stakes to tie to it for a year so that the hardiness of stem and strong roots can catch up and support its growth. Be careful not to damage the skin with the rope when you tie. Use a small one foot garden hose to feed in the rope and rope the tree with it,
Any underwater life in the pool...to share 🍤🐠🐙🦀? I'm happy for you guys, most things rolls your way in life. You two really have created a good joss or karma if you like. You deserve it ❤ from 🇸🇪
Hi FINN that mansanita is called aratiles here in Luzon, that is a superfruit,it can cure Diabetes, just 10 pieces of ripe one a day it can lower ur blood sugar😊
Certified arborist: Living in South Cotabato. Terminate the top of the Nara tree. Go down until you reach about 1/3 diameter of the base of the tree and terminate there. IE if base is 90cm, go down from top until you reach 30Cm and make cut there. Try and make cut close to branches that are spreading.
Hi Finn...I've been watching you ever since then and how goal oriented & a family guy you've become😊 Proud of you and thank you for choosing 🇵🇭to be your home too👩❤️👨 God Bless..From 🇨🇦
I didn't know that narra trees can grow that fast. Some fruits that I didn't hear you mention are lanzones, santol, bayabas (guava), kamias, durian (!), marang and langka (jackfruit). I'm not sure if marang will grow there but maybe it will.
Lol scuba Finn from Iceland won’t go in pool. I think Sherlynn is more excited about the pool. Sorry I got a little giggle from that. Everything looks so nice guys. Coming along great.
Finn, the issue with your trees, I'm sure you already know, but you can dig a hole right next to the tree and temporarily drive a thick wooden inside the hole, like a post, and strap the tree to it with plastic zip ties; you can then later remove the poles :))
Put a stake (wood or metal) beside the narra tree or any soft trees for support to help it grow tall and sturdy. I used old crates and removed the top portion also to keep animals from eating the leaves.
I’m laughing so hard when Finn said it’s cold😂 I’m thinking you are from Iceland and I’m sure you are used to cold! But I know what you mean. So much fun to swim under the rain👍🏻😄💕Good fun🌻
