Foreigners try tempoyak (fermented durian paste) and budu (fermented anchovies paste) in Terengganu as part of our Malaysian food tour!
Many people have recommended us to try tempoyak after our trying durian vlog. Many also suggested us to try budu after knowing that we were in Kuala Terengganu. Budu is a popular dish in East Coast Malaysia. We found a restaurant called Singgang Budu that has both tempoyak and budu so we went there to try them
Check out our vlog to see our reaction!
Stay tuned to our channel for more: travel vlogs, trying tempoyak, durian tempoyak, trying budu, budu Malaysia, Terengganu travel guide, Malaysia travel guide, must eat food in Malaysia, and more!

1 tips for u guys is that eveywhere u go in Malaysia. Every food that u eat that has rice, are recommended to mix it first and then eat. That's how to fully feel the taste the food in Malaysia. You can eat it separately but mix it will give it another level like budu, tempoyak and etc mix it well with any type of gravy that on ur rice u gonna love it. Hardly to taste bad when u mix it.

9:47: the name of ulam is...'ulam raja'. you nedd to squizze the lime in that anchovies aka 'budu' sauce...before deeping the fish session.. budu sauce just like your 'worchestershire sauce' base ingredient..guys! for me, you make a wrong step to eat that..just deep in the ulam or grill fish and eat with rice...thats it...heavenly 😁
