GM Ann, Sweet Papa and Boyz, Precious Ms. Judy and All!! Praise Our Father from whom ALL blessings flow! 💖 Prayers for everyone's health, safety and peace! 🙏 It's always a nerve wrecking feeling when putting something together and trying it out for the first time. I remember when we first moved into our condo, the water heater wasn't turned on and I was so afraid to turn it on, my son even went into another room in case; and as he ran there, I said "if this thing blows, it's taking out everything; including that room!" 🤣 ... Wasn't that a most loving gift from Moira! Blessings to you Moira for thinking of others! 🥰
"ok that was dangerous" 🤣 actually you did it right for when cutting under tension. Next time try not going so far through the log stop just before it get to pinching then finish by cutting from the bottom just like you did.
When you are sawing the log make sure the log is back against the front of the saw less chance for kick back which could jump the saw up into your face. Also try to make sure that your saw (chain and bar) never hits the ground otherwise it will dull the chain which will make your saw work harder and wear out faster. I hope this was helpful have a great day. Congratulations on your new saw. 💕
Good morning Ann, Enjoying my coffee with ya :-) You did great gutting that wood and tree I would under cut first then finish on top you did a great job very professional I like that it has a tensioner on it as the chain wears you can just tighten it with a twist :-) Love that saw I may get one :-) Have a great day :-)
Congratulations! You need to be wearing safety glasses. I agree that you do not need to be filming as that may distract you. That was a good amount of wood. Thank you for sharing
It's good to see you got tools which will be a real help. To manually cut wood in freezing temp It's just Tooo distressing for me. I'm Soooo happy for you now.
Oh my gosh I was watching you saw each log and each time you went to next cut it looked like you were putting hands or feet or some body part in the way and I'd jump and go ooohh...lols it looked like you'd cut your self...cool editing cause you got my attention for sure....lols
Congrats on saw...now come to Texas and cut my huge and I mean huge tree that feel many years ago when the fire was...I gotta get it chopped somehow...it is about the size of a monster truck tire...lols
@@AnnsTinyLife one thing I have learned about camping is that it is always good to have backup tools. I have so many lights and ways to start a fire so if one fails I have another. Tools make things so much easier.
You go Ann you're a rock star with that beastie!! Girl friend you have the fire wood issue licked! I am so impressed. With all my painting & woodworking skills a sawsall I have no issues with but I would shy away from a chain saw! 😆 💖
Wow that does seem to work really well. I guess I thought it wouldn’t have the gumption to do all of that work. I’ll have to look at them. We are looking for a second chainsaw.
Ann it would better if you place the log over the more then cut it off on the other side of the log it would be safer and will not pinch your blade. I hope you don't mind the suggestion. Be careful and be safe And be blessed 🙌
Nice video. Good review. I have a couple of WEN products and was considering the chainsaw. I was surprised at the noise level. Much louder than I expected. Something I haven't gotten used to with the WEN products is that when the power switched is pulled, there is a definite pause before the motor kicks in. The motors then only seem to have one speed. You can't throttle them like a battery powered car.
