How to catch fish at Wabamun Lake. In this video I show you how to catch walleye and pike (or jackfish).

I caught a 21lb pike at that bridge 26 years ago, wish it was still the same

Yeah, the surrounding Edmonton area is extremely over fished. All we can really do is catch what we can and make sure we properly release them so they can grow big and healthy.

Had to wait to fly it so that I wasn't disturbing the other fisherman but I think it was worth it! The sunset was beautiful.

The slab rap will catch them walleyes easy just vertically jigging it from the bridge haha

Yeah, I realized after watching the action that it was more of a jigging lure. Hey, if it works it works I guess!

Wow I was just at this spot and caught 40 walleyes

Nice work! I'll have to try minnows next time. It was pretty overcast and super windy. It calmed down at around 8:00pm. How long were you out, 40 walleye seems like a lot?

@@KruksYT we where there a few weeks ago from the afternoon to 10pm, my whole family was there hence the reason we caught so many,!

@@matthewmackiewich5712 Haha, wicked. I cant post a picture because comments are only text but if you look on maps and go to the southmost point of Wabamun you'll see a train track separating the body of water. Thats the spot!
