as some one who's favorite superhero is superman, prefers dc comics, and living 30+ years on this planet; i never realized both their moms names were Martha until this movie. i don't understand how people don't understand the impact of that line.
Yeah. Superman knows Bruce's parents' names. He literally means "You're letting them kill my mom," but at the same time, he is using it as a way to get to bats, showing him that he is now the person who murder his parents in the alley
@@JacksonBlade144the story is fine, its just that there were many plot points that was stupid and brought alot of justified critique. Why would the public believe that superman killed those people at the start, for what reason? Batman is smart but cant setup a meeting to talk to superman after seeing on many occasions that he actually helps people. Why does superman catch the kryptonite bomb? Why did superman not just give the spear to wonderwoman? Plus the movie was hindered by trying to setup future movies with too many random scenes, wrong director who regularly doesnt understand characters in his movie (batman guns killing, annoying lex, weird monster at the end with the lasers). Also the original cut didnt have scenes that explained the convoluted plot in this directors cut. Overall a decent movie, but a superman batman movie shouldnt just be just fine.
@@xl081 😂😂 the man just said he don’t care what anybody said but you felt the need to come in and try your best to ruin why he loves it. Let people enjoy life and what they love. Stop being miserable.
Zack has said in interviews that there is another villain in this film - the media. As it informs/guides peoples views on Superman and had a role in guiding Batman/Bruce's hatred of him too.
I think a lot of people miss this... it's social commentary about how we don't actually know eachother, we know what our society TELLS us about eachother.
You're stating absolute facts. It's a great reflection of the modern society. We don't try to get to know people but have your views, opinions and narratives of something or someone formed through certain perspectives - which is largely negative. Best showcase in the film is the sequence of news media discussions while Superman saves people. "Every act is a political act, maybe he's just a guy trying to do the right thing' etc - LOVE IT. @@ravissary79
Yeah that’s my favorite part of this movie the modern media world and the manipulation of it every day and how Batman and Superman and manipulated by everything. Such a smart movie. I fully believe if there was a Superman the media and political world would be talking about him nonstop
@@mattsell2361 gosh it’s refreshing to talk with someone who gets this film. You’re absolutely right. The whole segment of news reels debating superman cut together with him saving people is brilliant. If he were real - he would be treated by the media EXACTLY as was shown in the film. He’d be debated, talked about, questioned non-stop
Dude you need to do the full Zack Snyders Justice League. It takes it from being the worst DCU movie to the best. You can cut it up into two watchings fairly appropriately, so don't worry. But yeah man, that movie is something special. 🔥🔥🔥 Also, no, it's not 8 straight hours. Looks like an error. Think it's like 4 and a half.
The 8 hour ZS JL Trilogy is a blu ray edition of the 3 films... as already said, the third movie is just 4 hours and it's split in 6 chapters and an epilogue
Totally agree. I have a JL question I’ll probably ask again when that one is rewatched: but at a point Bruce says, “There are 6, not 5. There is no US without HIM.” Six what? What is Bruce talking about here? I mean there are certainly other potential JL members out there that haven’t been found yet. These are just the ones Bruce has managed to cobble together in a few months. So…. Six not Five? So really, shouldn’t there be Seven not Six? If Green Lantern is out there? As an original member in the comics? Far as I can tell, the reference is to the number of JL members there *should* be due to our fan knowledge of comic history. Not anything to do with the story inside the film. Maybe it’s a weird thing to be hung up on.
Just so you know the Wonder Woman movie came out after the edited version of this movie was released in cinemas so most people only may have started to click on that Gal is playing Wonder Woman was in this movie with the reveal of the 1918 photo and the debut of WW during the finale of this was quite insane in the cinema..
9:39 there have been various versions of the children of Superman but the two “main” ones are Connor Kent who is a young clone of him. Way more backstory there, but if you ever watch stuff involving him, it’s better to find out yourself. Most versions he refers to Supes as his father. The other is actually Lois x Clark’s biological son, Jon Kent. He’s recently gained a lot of popularity in comics :)
And for a little extra context, it usually requires Supes to take Lois to a different planet where he’s essentially just a normal human so the baby doesn’t kill Lois when it’s kicking and during childbirth.
Zack Snyder's Justice League is 4 hours but it's absolutely a epic film. The hype leading up to it was unprecedented. I love Zack Snyder's DC it's a shame we will most likely never see it completed though unless some miracle happens.
@@martinpp95 You are free to think as you please.. I highly disagree with you though. I and many others love that film, and you have no idea what that film means to me on a personal level. I just lost my dad when it was released. ZSJL was the only thing that made me smile at the time. It brought me a lot of comfort. The movie also had an amazing theme on fathers, and I myself could really connect with the characters. So it means a lot to me.
@theveteran5001 im glad ZSJL made you happy I also really enjoyed it. Like to me ZSJL and Infinity war are the two best comic book movies by a long shot.
Masterpiece The look, the design, the picture, the cast, the atmoshere etc This movie is a well done juicy steak compared to the mcDonalds cinema of the last 10years Its just massive
The Snyder Cut of Justice League is basically a miniseries. It’s separated into chapters and can be watched like two at a time if it helps. It’s a big improvement to the movie, but at the end of the day it’s still a Snyder project. So take that as you will.
And yes, there are two Suicide Squad movies. One is titled "Suicids Squad" and was directed by David Ayer. The other is titled "The Suicide Squad" and was directed by James Gunn of Guardians Of The Galaxy fame, and it is a kinda sorta reboot sequel to David Ayer's movie. Though a small handful of characters return, Gunn's movie makes practically no mention or reference to the events of Ayer's movie.
This is the most under rated misunderstood comic book movie ever. It gave us the Batman fight scene ever and set up an amazing universe that was ahead of its time
I love this movie. Been a Batman fan my whole life and despite some weird criticisms, I thoroughly enjoyed being dropped into the middle of Batman’s story. He’s using guns and killings people because he’s ‘fallen’. His arc is to be given hope again. It’s actually great as far as I can tell so it’s strange everyone got stuck on the ‘gun’ issue.
Omg thank you. “Snyder doesn’t understand the character of Batman” seems to me more like people didn’t understand the point of his Batman’s character. The whole Snyder trilogy was about Superman and his connection to humanity, and Batman was the personification of that connection.
@@rianepperson5094 Right! This was one of my favorite things about BvS: Batman needs HOPE and who traditionally brings that? I can’t bridge the nonsense about not understanding these character b/c it seems like a pretty solid fulcrum to overlap Batman and Superman. I’ll say it was a little odd smashing Death of Superman with TDKR, but I’ll roll with it.
But this is where you would need an origin story. Not killing is a massive part of Batman, and versions where he does, emphasizes how big of a deal that is. If you’re gonna make it to where Batman is desensitized to killing, you first should establish (best done in a solo movie) WHY he’s now so desensitized. Coming out the gate with him using guns and deciding who lives and dies obviously wasn’t going to go over well. Combine that with Batman and Superman hating each other for hypocritical reasons, Lex’s solution to getting rid kryptonians being to create an uncontrollable kryptonian, and other nonsensical decisions like this, and things like Batman’s premise become even harder to accept
There always needs to be something in place to stop someone. No matter how good they may seem. All it takes is a change of heart and the world is doomed. No matter how much you believe in him, you keep the kryptonite just in case.
Bullits come in many shapes. What you may be thinking of is a magnum pistol round. they tend to be short and wide. They are meant to do massive tissue damage. combat rifle rounds tend to be long and narrow respectively. They are meant to fly fast and straight and to penetrate materials.
ZSJL is 4 hrs, so can anyone explain why there's an 8hr one?? 😭 also I grew to appreciate BvS overtime if you just look at the Snyder visioned movies 🔥
Superman in the comic has like a physic power to where people just automatically don’t see Clark and Superman as the same person it’s like they forget or something like that once they find out almost like a automatic memory erase
Think that was just at first, the explaination now is that, well honestly who would expect someone larger than life like Superman to have a job, nevermind as just some journalist. I mean lets be honest it's very very easy to make people doubt who you are if you just change your body language and habits, nevermind when you have the advantage of being the world's greatest hero. If some dude at my work looked like Elon Musk, i wouldn't think he actually WAS Elon Musk. Just a look alike.
Zack Snyder's Justice League is 4 hours long. Perhaps Amazon Prime is bundling it with the Justice is Grey(The Black & White Version) version as well maybe that is why it is listed as 8 hours? Both the Color and Black & White Version are the same film. ZSJL is 4 hours but those 4 hours breeze on by and is a great movie.
Comparing the theatrical release and the Ultimate Edition, I think they cut out a lot of the detective work that Clarke and Lois do to figure out what’s going on. So it’s a more confusing story.
I just realized doomsday and mahoraga(jjk) are like the same….the have the same abilities. Get hit adapt to whatever that hit was and never be effective again
That scenario should be Wonder Woman is the one who should have get Kryptonite spear and save Louis. Because she is not affected by it. Superman draws power from the sun but Wonder Woman can also draw power from the Sun and mostly on Earth.
Lex's plan in this movie is so ridiculously complicated and convoluted. You only fully understand it on the second watch. I actually recommend watching a video about it just so you understand how diabolical this man's schemes are.
Definitely need to watch Zack Snyders Justice League, though yes it is 4 hours, it's very much so worth it. Plus more content if you split the reaction into parts.
In the comics Klark and Lois do have a son. He is th curant superbly I do belive and he often teams up with Damion Wyan/Robin/the sone of Burce and Talia Al Ghole.

snyder cut edition is WORTHIT cuz he adapted from the comics and the dark aspect (literally dark screen as well) and no shitty sexual jokes and u wont miss anything in the entire movie
Movie had so much potential... has some dope highs but really bad lows.. the biggest flaw imo is not spacing this movie out. We deserved a solo Batman movie with Ben Affleck, and they couldve used that as more opportunity to build up the beef between these 2. As well as shoving Doomsday in the last like 30 mins of the movie was such ass to me, the way the animated movies did the death/return of superman was such a better way to do it. Still like a lot of the action in this but it couldve been something even more amazing. Gotta say tho I love how COLDDD that scene is where Clark is asking Bruce about this thoughts on Batman, the freaks dressed like clowns line was 🔥🔥🔥
The reference to the "Justice League Snyder Cut" being 8 hours long may be a misconception or an exaggeration. The actual "Justice League Snyder Cut," officially titled "Zack Snyder's Justice League," has a runtime of approximately 4 hours and 2 minutes. During its production and development, there were rumors and speculation about the possibility of it being released as a mini-series with multiple episodes, potentially totaling around 8 hours. However, in its final release, the film is presented as a single, uninterrupted feature. The reason for the longer runtime of "Zack Snyder's Justice League" compared to the original theatrical release of "Justice League" is that it includes significant additional footage and scenes that were not included in the original version. Director Zack Snyder had to step away from the original production due to personal reasons, and the final version of the film released in 2017 was significantly altered from his original vision. The "Snyder Cut" aims to restore Snyder's original vision by incorporating these additional scenes, providing a more comprehensive and cohesive story. It is worth noting that a 4-hour runtime is quite long for a single film, but it allows for more character development, expanded storylines, and a greater exploration of the film's themes. The extended runtime aims to deliver a more complete and satisfying experience for viewers who wanted to see Snyder's intended vision for the film.
I t6hink a thing that is shown but not covered very well in this movie is this Batman is on the edge of becoming a pure viguanti and not a become for justice. This Batman lost his Robin to the Joker. That is what the spraypained Robin suit was meant to tell ya.
For me, this movie is the pinnacle of studio interference. What should’ve happened was getting all of the origin stories for the justice league, and once the justice league is formed, see the seeds planted for different ideologies between Batman and Superman, and expand on those further as the movies continue, ultimately leading to their fight, and killing Superman much later.
now we wait for justice league (snyder cut plz) and the snyder cut aint 8 hrs amazon trippin ps: and to answer your question. Yes if he had a kid with lois itll some human but seemingly more kryptonian. Theyve had had twins before. If u want to see em live, check out superman and lois. he also has other kids across other timelines most famous one being conner kent ( besides jonathan kent). And if u remember injustice, or ever get to watch injustice the animated film(hopefully u get back into the dcau) the reason that whole thing started was cause joker had killed a pregnant lois lane which led to the destruction of metropolis due to the sensor joker put on her heart. also if u continue ur DCAU journey youll be introduced to batmans real son and stories behind dat and shit which will also give u more info on things u dont get or missed
It has 2 versions that’s why it says 8 hours in one ☝🏼 superman outfit is regular color and in the other justice league is completely dark like black kryptonians
Superman wears the same black suit in both Snyder cuts, justice is grey is just the Snyder cut in a black and white filter, which honestly makes stepphenwolfe (idk how to spell it) look cooler, idk why though, he just does
I have literally seen this movie over 20 times with my GF, and while seeing you react I realised the CIA really was bombing the whole village and to save face they had to throw superman under the bus. Never thought that much about that bomb which superman stopped
The Robin suite you see in the background that says "jokes on you" is Damian Waynes Suite. He tried to take on the joker alone and got ghosted by the Joker
@@crazy_indian3921he died in this version. It's a reference to TDKR, where Dick got killed. Zack said in an interview it's Dick, but in the comics it was Jason Todd.
Don they are adding the two films The Josstice League (The butchered studio version is 2hr and some minutes) The true version is 4 hours 3 minutes WATCH THAT ONE
Since u watched revenge of the sith, u should watch the obi-wan seriescuz it take place after if im correct. Would have told you in the videos comments but i was too late and didnt think you would see it.
This is the only movie, besides Wonder Woman, that I really loved in the DCEU. Watched it when it came out, will remember it forever ❤ and the score for this movie is just 🤌🏼🤌🏼💯
