We were all geeking out hard when Peter came in. It was a huge deal because Sony and Disney had a hard time coming up with a deal to let Spider-Man into the MCU. So when he was finally allowed to be part of the MCU, it definitely changed the game.

@rol1xgames333
@rol1xgames333 Год назад
@@fullmoonprepping4024 it is known, in comics it is impossible to clearly define the character's strength because it is as strong as the scriptwriter requires and once spiderman gets tired of the kingpin and the next time it causes a problem for the Hulk and so it is with each character that the scriptwriter adjusts its strength to the needs of his story. It is also known that spiderman in the fight against weaker or human rivals always refrains and does not use 100% of his strength not to hurt them, but it is also hard to estimate when he refrains and how much, just like you said, Spiderman's strength grows with age and experience so adult Peter will be much stronger than a teenager

yes Bucky didn’t kill his parents, but it doesn’t change the facts that Tony did lose his parents, that it was still Bucky’s hands that did the deed, and that Steve lied to him. Logically knowing Bucky was mind controlled doesn’t change the reality that Tony did just watch his parents being murdered and there is emotions of grief and trauma happening right there just finding it all out suddenly. I’m sure Tony, if he had time and space to process his feelings, would have come to the conclusion that it wasn’t Bucky’s fault. But you can’t expect him to simply be all rational in the moment.

The Winter Soldier program and the Red Room were both in the USSR. That's what the red star is about. The Soviets thought they were in control, but both programs were run by Hydra. It wasn't just America that got infiltrated. Yes, Cap has movie healing powers. Not Wolverine levels, but better than ordinary humans. The reason Sam is so attached to Redwing: in the comic books, Redwing is an actual falcon that Sam has a psychic bond with. Almost everyone in this story became consumed by vengeance. I love that T'Challa was the only one who gave in to vengeance, then overcame it. In the end, he was the biggest man. I love that even though Natasha was on the other side, she still went to the funeral to support Steve. That's friendship. That "plant yourself like a tree" speech was from the comic books. It is epic. Kudos to the actor playing Bucky. He had to portray three different cognitive levels and nailed it.

Welcome to Phase 3 of the MCU! 😊 This is the absolute best phase so far. First of all, RIP always to Chadwick Boseman(T'Challa/Black Panther) & to William Hurt(General Ross)!!! This is, by far in my top 5 favorite MCU movies so far! Not only do we get the MCU debut of Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa aka Black Panther and Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. And we're introduced to one of my favorite MCU villians Zemo. But that airport fight scene is one of my all-time favorite scenes. So fantastically choreographed! I can never pick a side between Team Iron Man or Team Captain America. Because I always see points on both sides. Just like at the end when Tony found out that Bucky killed his parents. Yes, Tony wanted to avenge his part. But like Steve said, Bucky was under the control of Hydra. Up next, another one of my favorites: "Doctor Strange". Looking forward to your next reaction. 😊

Cap heals faster than a normal human... but it's nowhere near a 'regen' factor. I would suspect for serious injuries (takes a lot more to injure him) that would keep a regular person in the hospital for a couple weeks, Cap would be out within the day with superficial wounds. This movie I call Avengers 2.5 since Hulk and Thor was not in it. It was absolutely jaw droppingly amazing. The adrenaline rush of watching this in the theaters was just as epic as watching an Avengers movie too. That airport scene was epic and Iconic. The Black Widow body double is such a badass stunt fighter. She makes Scarlett look amazing. General Ross was a hypocrite for being the one talking to the Avengers about their behavior, when he is responsible for what happened in Harlem and for Abomination. Btw....Why can't any reactors remember Sam's name? The very few black people in the MCU and all they remember is his code name. *sigh* Smh. 😑 The whole promo catch theme for this movie was Team Captain or Team Ironman. I was Team Cap. I think Tony was only trying to lighten his guilt conscious for all the recklessness he's done over the years. I'm also on Steve's side about Bucky also. Steve found out in his second movie that Hydra killed off The Starks from Zola, but he didn't know it was Bucky that did the deed. The video confirmed his fear that it could have been. I don't think he wanted to know from Bucky if it was him. Bucky is Steve's best friend since childhood and the only link left to his older life. I understand Tony's rage, but Bucky is just as much a victim of what happened too. A P.O.W. experimented on and not in control of his mind or body functions. He remembers all of that and can never undo it.

100% agree. Tony pushed the accords to assuage his guilt over Ultron. Picking up a capital city of a foreign country and then dropping it... the death and destruction would be uncharted realistically.
@AbhijeetMishra
@AbhijeetMishra Год назад
"Btw....Why can't any reactors remember Sam's name?" I think it's partly because his character simply does not get to do anything special, and partly because not watching these movies in the theaters the first time makes people less invested? I'm not sure, but I don't blame folks for forgetting the names of some characters, black or white, especially the side ones. Of course, they will remember him now that he's Captain America, though I'm hoping they can pull that movie off because Anthony Mackie doesn't have the screen presence or persona to be the main hero in a movie. I have the same issue with Spider-Man. Tom Holland does a good job, but he is complemented by good characters and actors in his movies (Iron Man, Mysterio, the other Spider-Men, etc) so his lack of screen presence is not a major issue. Hopefully the next Captain America will put Mackie next to some good characters and actors so his lack of screen presence doesn't hurt the film).

During the Winter Soldier when Cap and Nat were playing in the secret SHIELD base with computer Zola, he was explaining the history of Hydra within SHIELD, and he mentioned that “when history wouldn’t comply [with Hydra’s wishes], history was altered” with flashes of the Winter Soldier and the headline about Tony’s dying in a car crash. So while he didn’t “know”, Cap knew enough. I think you’re a bit hard on Bucky in this. Who’s responsible for the Stark’s murder? Bucky had no choice in it and was as much a victim as Howard and Maria. In the end, while Tony’s impulses were understandable, he was definitely taking out his anger on the wrong people.

My thoughts on the Sokovia accords: Phase One was all about the heroes trying to keep this new power they discovered out of the wrong hands. Except Thor was learning his hands were the wrong hands, and he had to become worthy of his power. This is especially true in The Incredible Hulk where Banner was trying to keep Hulk out of Ross’s hands. Now here’s Ross finding opportunity in the political winds to gain control of them all. In my view, the Accords are a mistake. However, they exist for a reason. The Avengers should have a UN observer to monitor, report, and advise. The observer can press charges if needed and the Court decide wrongdoing. But command and control should remain with the Avengers. Also, the Avengers should be more cautious regarding collateral damage.
@kenarbes
@kenarbes Год назад
Collateral damage is very hard to manage. Wanda tried to contain the bomb blast, tried to get Rumlow up into the sky high enough before the bomb breached her containment field, but it got away from her. If she'd just had a few more seconds, she could have gotten the blast above the building. The irresistible force met a not quite immovable object, so it won.

In the comic book story, Tony Stark was the clear villain, and the legislation he backed was an obvious metaphor for the PATRIOT act under George Bush II. At the time, Marvel were the only ones in popular media criticizing the overreach of the Bush administration. I remember Jon Stewart on the Daily Show talked about the plot of the Civil War comic books, discussed the metaphors, then looked right into the camera and said, "America, why are we having this conversation in a comic book?" He was criticizing just about everyone for not being as brave as Marvel comics.

Steve knew HYDRA had Howard Stark killed. He had no way of knowing it was Bucky. Given how fragile Tony had been in IM3, Steve might have decided against sharing that his parents didn't die in an accident.

Why does everyone think Tony will die if his reactor is damaged did we forget that Tony had that issue taken care of in Ironman 3 it now is only needed to power his suits

We don't get Thor and Hulk because story wise they're MIA. We don't get them thematically because they wanted to tell a story of human conflict, and God's & monsters would take away from the human element.

You're surprised at how strong Peter is? You saw earlier in the same movie Peter caught an SUV, preventing an accident with that bus. Peter is nowhere near as strong as Hulk or Thor, but no way could Steve, Bucky or T'Challa catch a moving SUV like that. Peter's limit is lifting a school bus (about 20 tons). About what happened to Rhodey: if you are friends with Tony Stark, you will eventually become a cyborg. That's just how it is. I love that they showed the Raft. That is a really famous maximum security prison in the comic books.

If we’re talking about just pure lifting strength, I think Spider-Man is somewhere between super soldier (Cap, Bucky) and Thor

Others have chimed in on this, too, but to put it into perspective, Black Panther, or a Super-Soldier like Cap could probably manage to flip a car over if they planted their feet, got two hands under the car with a good grip, strained REALLY hard and slowly tipped the car until it rolled onto its side, then roll it onto it's top (maybe like 10 or so grown men could do working together). Whereas Peter Parker / Spider-man could basically lift up a city-bus or a semi-truck without much effort at all. (It would be more about whether the structure of the bus / truck was strong enough to hold together being held at the angle Spider-Man was lifting it rather than him being strong enough... as someone pointed out below, Spidey can lift multiple tons of weight, vs. Cap/Bucky/T'challa, would could probably lift 1500-2000 lbs slowly, with effort.)

I should tell you that this is the place where the Black Widow movie fits in the timeline. If you decide to watch it here (which I recommend) just be aware that the post-credit contains spoilers, other than that it fits perfectly.

46:00 - I never liked that Howard recognized Bucky. It was 50 years after the war, different facial hair, believed by everyone to be dead and it's dark and he recognizes Barnes? What if Howard knew about Winter Solider program and what was done? That would make him a monster.

Spider-man has serious super strength. He can routinely lift about 10 tons overhead, which makes him about 3-4 times stronger than super-soldier types like Captain America, Bucky and Black Panther- in the MCU they can all lift about 2.5 to 3 tons. He's also way quiicker and more agile than they are. However despite his physical advantages, Peter is very inexperienced at fighting and hasn't fully learned how to use his abilities. So Peter frequently holds back in fights, because he doesn't know his own limts and doesn't want to accidentally kill someone. Spider-Man in the comics is more like 25-30 times stronger than Cap, Bucky and T'Challa, because in that universe they're only peak human athletes instead of superhuman.

young spiderman could lift 10-15 tons or 20,000 to 30,000 pounds, mature Spiderman ( full adult) 25 tons or 50,000 pounds. while heroes like Hulk or Thor could easily lift well over 100 tons or 200,000 pounds.

Peter Parker has the "proportional strength of a spider". Like you know how bugs can lift stuff bigger than their body? He's not the strongest Avenger but he is stronger than a regular human.

Rankings (IMO) Cap (or Bucky) can flip a car over. Spider-Man can pick the car up over his head and throw it down the street. Iron Man/War Machine can fly the car up high and throw it halfway across town. The Hulk (or Thor) can crush the car into a ball and throw it into orbit.
