18:12 You would think that after the first two movies, Gru and Lucy would have taught the girls how to defend themselves in case of being kidnapped or attacked by another villain.
Hi Ange, love your reactions, I’m just curious to see if you could add this movie to your watchlist of movie commentaries. It’s called The Adventures Of Tintin (2011), it’s a motion capture adventure movie about a young journalist, his dog and a drunken sailor who try to find an old pirate treasure. It’s directed Steven Spielberg (JAWS), produced by Peter Jackson (LOTR) and co written by Edgar Wright (Baby Driver). It’s a similar animation style to The Polar Express. It’s also stars Jamie Bell, Andy Serkis, Daniel Craig, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.
It’s crazy to think that’s Trey Parker of South Park fame providing the voice of Balthazar Bratt. On top of that, it’s perhaps the first and so-far only time that Trey Parker got to participate in an animated family film considering that 98% of his work is doing South Park, although he did work on the musical _The Book of Mormon_ and _Team America: World Police_ which were also Non-South Park projects he worked on.
I considered this film to be the "weakest" film of the _Despicable Me_ series and I didn't enjoy this as much as the first two _Despicable Me_ films and the Minions films including _The Rise of Gru._ For starters, I didn’t enjoy the main villain as he was a step backwards from the last two villains and another reason I didn’t enjoy this film was that their was many different subplots happening during the film such as Gru and Dru's relationship with each other as brothers, Agnes looking for a "Unicorn", Margo's date with Nico at the insistence of Lucy and the Minions shenanigans resulting in their arrest after they abandoned Gru, when literally it should focus on the former which is Gru and Dru’s bond with each other. So, my ranking from Most favorite to least favorite: 1. Despicable Me 2. Despicable Me 2 3. Minions: The Rise of Gru 4. Minions 5. Despicable Me 3 I’m keeping an open mind with the upcoming 4th film set to come out in July of 2024, that it would be as good as the first two films and Rise of Gru, but especially a huge improvement over the third movie.
Same. I didn't mind the villain but the way they beat him felt a little sudden and anticlimactic. I think maybe this film could've benefitted from maybe 1 or 2 less subplots. Not everything had time to fully get developed.
Baltazar Bratt is voiced by Trey Parker, one of the co-creators and stars of South Park, where he voiced Stan Marsh, Eric Cartman, Randy Marsh, Mr. Garrison plus many. many, MANY more (not just the TV series but South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut and the series multiple spin-off movies plus video games). This is the first non-adult movie that he had a voice role in and he have stated that he's proud of being in a movie that his daughter could watch (as she was and probably still is, too young to watch all the adult stuff her dad have been starred in).
Very entertaining reaction as usual Ange! Your speech difficulties were pretty fun, not gonna lie 😁 This movie isn't aimed at kids today, it's aimed at adults who were kids in the 80's, like me 😀 I think it's meant to be nostalgic, and a trip down memory lane, for people who gru (pun intended) up in the 80's. I don't think his things, like the Rubik's cube, are meant to be kid related, but rather a nod at the 80's, just like the keytar, and all the music. I think you have a point though, when you say that he never gru (pun intended again) up. Making a TV-series about an evil, criminal kid "hero" for kids to look up to wouldn't fly in real life though, for obvious reasons 😆 And your first gut instinct was that Valerie was very rude towards Ramsbottom, and one second later she suddenly was a badass woman, that wasn't two sides of the same coin, it was two entirely different coins, oh well 😏😜 I rewatched the trilogy the other day, and I really enjoy them. And you should totally do the Minions movie.
This was ok in my opinion like it wasn’t as entertaining as the first two but I do love to see Gru and Lucy and the girls as a loving family ❤️❤️❤️ and introducing us to Dru Grus brother was a big surprise because I didn’t know he had one and he was funny and like that Steve Carrel voiced both characters and did different take on both and of course minions are still the ops 💙💛💙💛and Bazaar I would say was a funky villain 💜💜💜I love your reactions and can’t wait to see if you do the prequels 😊😊😄😉😉
Just like Despicable Me two I don’t remember much of this movie either although I do see people reacting to this another reaction. In the books. Another great video. Awesome keep it up.
I noticed in a video the other day that Agnes got a different voice actress, likely because the original actress was too old to do it when this one came out
Hi Ange, from watching your commentaries going through all the Despicable me from one to three, I've really enjoyed it very much watching all three with you. When the ending of the third one came I thought of the words you were trying to put together. I thought of this one to complete it. "Dru grew and became part of the crew." Together with, "If the girls can love Gru, they can love you."
Well this is an interesting thing I just learned. There's actually a drink - Scandinavian apparently - called kaffeost that has cheese over the top of coffee of all things. It's not me right, that's a weird thing to do right?
I'm not much for sequels, and Disney REALLY needs to get off this path, and start creating original material again.😐 That said, they were definitely playing on the 'emotional' content to keep this afloat. Thanks for another great review Angelina!🤩👍👍👍
Love Your Commentaries. Your Voice is cool. It's calming and open. Ever thought about voice acting? If yes... let me know! Producing an animated Short Film on RU-vid. Sci-fi Fantasy. Keep it up Ang! You have a loving community :)
About the guy that dipped his cheese in his drink we do this in my family in Puerto Rico we deep cheese to our hot chocolate and let it melt sometimes it's not for everyone but I like it
Hi Angelina. It’s me David Gray again. Thank you for reacting to Despicable Me three. I know you found this movie OK. Which that’s OK on my opinion. I love this movie a lot. Please do minions from 2015 next. I am begging you. I am sure you will love the first minions movie from 2015. and after that, please do minions the rise of Gru. Thank you.
A lot of people saying they didn’t like this movie which is fair enough but let’s change the tide a lil. Say something positive about Despicable M3. Mine: My favourite part about this movie was the villain
This movie wasn't quite as good as the first two, but it had it's great moments, I love how well Gru and Dru bond, Lucy connecting with the girls, and of course, Balthazar Bratt is a hilarious villain.
How is doing the Minion’s movie even a question? It must be done! Do it or a unicorn dies! What? Too much? Okay a unicorn gets a scratchy throat. Really doesn’t have the same zing though.
They soooo overdid it with this one. Illumination studios kind of just said "you know what the first and second one did so well let's over do the storyline and use the heck out of the Minions
I’m not gonna lie, this is a pretty bad movie. But then again, 2017 was the major year for bad movies like this. (Except The LEGO Batman Movie) But, at least this movie has one of the South Park guys, so at least they tried.
8:20 if you know enough latin shit you can actually dissect what they say into a general vague mishmash of english, spanish, and french. Super creative simple way to make a "new language" that isnt completely foreign
I really like this movie I’m a biggie for the 80s Especially Michael Jackson (that song BAD was perfect) also ANGELINA don’t get that woman’s Blonde hair You look Better with Black😁😍
