Ritchie makes the first act a hard watch. The vamp reveal was a great twist and Ritchie’s death was very satisfying.

Very much so. I feel like the wanted to make sure we knew, this is the evil brother and this is the 'less evil brother' lol. I'm glad they ended him quickly because they made him so unlikable.

Hey there, big fan/fam here. I was one of those who suggested you watch this, so it was fun to see your reaction. I enjoyed this movie when it first came out - I do love me some 80s-90s camp and will never say no to a Robert Rodriguez joint. It’s been awhile and tastes change. It’s even been a while since the TV series, which is very cool, stylish, and super entertaining. It’s a different animal than this movie, even though it’s also a Robert Rodriguez joint. You have the same characters plus some, some fact changes, and all the fun of back stories and seeing what comes next. The cast is wonderful and the actors that play Seth, Ritchie Kate, and Santanico are superb. It would stand up to any vampire thriller released today and then some, IMO. And it’s a perfect length, 3 seasons, to tell a good story, keep your interest then say goodbye before you get bored. I get the impression you may have found this movie version a bit disappointing and I understand why, but I think you would love the series. THANKS again for doing this one! You’re my hero. Happy thanksgiving! You may be missing some watches due to the holiday.

Thanks. I wouldnt say i was disappointed because i did like alot of things about the film. It was mostly the ending that shocked me. I think i just had an expectation and it didnt come true lol. I really thought that Scotty and Kate would survive together. I'll have to watch a few episodes of the show. Someone else mentioned it to me. And thanks! Happy Thanksgiving to you too.

There was also a good movie called John Carpenter's Vampires about vampire hunters. You'll probably like it.

I love your reactions. This movie surprised a lot of us. The twists in this movie were good. Some of your questions answered. Quintin has done some acting in other movies but more cameos. At the time George Clooney was doing RomCom nice guys. This was the 1st time he played a role like this, so we were all impressed. Like we didn't know he had it in him. There was a short TV series of this movie. I started watching a few episodes, not bad. And the guy with the penis gun. Last name Tom Savini and he is a legend in horror for special effects. I don't think he did them in this movie but Friday the 13th, Dawn of Dead (1978) to name a few.
