FIRST TIME WATCHING *GODZILLA x KONG: THE NEW EMPIRE (2024)* MOVIE REACTION! 

To be fair this entire monsterverse franchise is paying homage to the showa era from the 50s to the 70s with godzilla being the hero or anti-hero with it being silly and goofy and overall stupid while -1 pays homage to the old roots of godzilla being the evil force of nature looking for revenge to those who awoke him in the 50s, Godzilla is versatile he can be anything, and im glad we have both worlds.

honestly I love how different GxK is to Minus One. Someome said on Twitter that Minus one is like a healthy steak and this movie and the monsterverse is like pizza and theres nothing wrong with that and sometimes I just wanna watch a fun blockbuster monster movie

Let's just say Godzilla is the protector of earth{ IN the Monsterverse } and he fights titans who disrupts nature. His species have done that too long ago after they all died from a War and Godzilla is the only one of his species survive. I'll cut this short, Godzilla is the only titan and alongside Humanity or any titan that he needed help but most of the time Godzilla is the one who fights titans who disrupts nature however if there's any powerful titans he fights, he's going to need Humanity to fight alongside with him to defeat whoever they're going against. So yeah he cares about earth but not Humans because we're the ones who's just polluting the planet little by little {Also the fact that we're the ones that saved his life from certain deaths. So let's just say he doesn't like Humans but that doesn't mean he hates us unless if we hate him.} However titans are far worse than US. Although Godzilla doesn't want to Destroy Humanity he just wants to keep the Earth in Balance.

Fun fact: The in Universe reason Godzilla Sleeps in the Colosseum is because it reminds him of his old home The Underwater Temple in Godzilla King of the Monsters (2019) which was destroyed during his resurrection in the movie.

Lol they keep making these movies cause they keep making money. A next installment is already in the works.

Although Minus One's breath is destructive, it is not among the most powerful that Godzilla has had in his history. and to give you an idea of ​​scale, Godzilla (monsterverse) is 120m tall, while Kong is 102m and Minus One is 51m.

If you're curious about what are the creatures in this film, The Creatures that appeared in this movie are: Leafwings(the birds flying) , WartDogs(the giant dog pack) ,Kong, Doug( the giant lizard stealing kongs meal), Parrot Frog, Scylla(the giant squid crab), Godzilla, Suko (the baby Kong’s name), vertacines (the flying creatures the ship was flying with), Tiamat(the giant sea dragon serpent), hell hawks(the birds that looked like a mix of hawks and bats), Warbats(the flying serpents), DrownViper(the sea serpent that attacked Kong), Tree Mimic( the creature that ate the mercenary) , Skar King, Shimo, and Mothra.

Even tho Skar King wasn't the strongest he was for sure the most intelligent and fastest monster in this film and he was more like a human! That's why Skar is my favourite Monsterverse Titan!!

If Godzilla 2024 fought minus one would win because minus one beam is a nuke and Godzilla eats nukes and they power him up and also Godzilla was not preparing for this battle he was preparing for something stronger

I’m team Kong but I do like Godzilla and yes it done super well at the box office but clearly this a Kong movie but don’t compare this to minus one cuz that’s Japanese studio Toho where this is Legendary American Studio and Kong American Monster so of course he gonna get more screen time if this made in Japan it definitely be other way around I been following this monsters movies for decades knows the lore history

The hollow earth is the place of origin of all the titans (except Ghidorah), that’s why their environment makes them look small, cause there is only megafauna and gigantic flora.

Fun fact godzilla in minus one is 164 feet, and godzilla in this movie is 400 feet tall, so minus one is very small to this Godzilla.
