People love the idea of 2 characters who start out hating each other but ironically fall in love. Plus you're 20 years late to be saying "don't tell the fanfic writers" for a fandom this old lmao. Every ship has been written at this point. The first Draco x Hermione fic was written in 2003. Draco x Harry also has one of the highest number of fanfics on the internet for more than a decade

With Lucius talking his shit & Arthur not saying much, it felt more unfitting to me. 🤔 I also liked how the pompous and arrogant Lucius Malfoy got down on "muggle level" bc Arthur dragged it out of him 😆 to me it felt fitting for Arthur to throw fists for the things he believes in and against evil right in front of his face. Just shows he can be a hot blooded Gryffindor too 😊

Also he's an abused child who was never believed by adults for practically the entirety of his life and constantly called a liar by the Durselys. It's why Harry is so independent, tries to deal with everything on his own even when his life is in danger, and doesn't tell adults about any "abnormal" or "funny" things as Vernon calls it.

​​@@mjm3091 There's a good way to handle that though. Have the bystanders pull them off of each other and have Arthur look busted up, but still ready to go another round. I'm with the book fans on this one, there's a lot of adaptations that they got wrong. And a great deal of them, unfortunately, have to do with the Weasleys.

It's supposed to. But I'm thinking Hermione made a less than perfect batch because it was a bit beyond her skill set. Their voices didn't change and the effect didn't last very long.

Only the second movie - a lot of secrets yet unrevealed. Nobody in the audience knew what we know in hindsight, so, as an actor, you go for the most "evil" curse you have been told. :) While not in proportion to the insult, it was still good to imply how "not" in control Lucius was, despite his high-brow attitude.

​@@bigg2988 Jason Isaacs actually was just naming the first curse that he remembered. And, at that time, it was a short list. It did work out well, though, showing the mental state of Lucius Malfoy.

well just asking.. isn't technically harry also pure-blood instead of half-blood coz even if lily was muggle-born, she was a witch nd that means both of harry's parents were wizards... so.....🤔

@@davinamathew4513 No he is still technically half. In the books it is explained that purebloods are witches and wizards with no muggle ancestors (or so they say). The fact that Harry has two muggle grandparents (lily’s mom and dad) means that he cannot claim pure blood since it can be traced that he has muggle ancestry. Even most pureblood families aren’t pure. To hide this they usually disown or even kill family members who don’t marry other purebloods or at least half bloods. Nymphadora aka Tonks is a great example of this. She is from the Black family (sirius, bellatrix, narcissa) one of the oldest pureblood families. However her pureblood mom married a muggleborn wizard and she was disowned along with her parents. Someone in Order of the Phoenix (I don’t want to spoil anything) actually calls Harry a filthy halfblood.

@davinamathew4513 nope he's still half blood. Being born with magical gifts makes you a muggle born witch. It doesn't change your "blood status" within the wizarding world. James is pure blood. Lily being born with witchy gifts from her 2 muggle parents still makes her a muggle-born, same as Hermione.

If that's true, this guy is even better of a director than I thought. I kind of wish he would have stayed on for another movie or two. His two are my favorites.

Still, here and now for the first-time watchers, it is clear that the "memory" of Voldemort was directly connected to his diary and that was enough explanation. If a prop causes so much havoc, "kill" the prop. Harry's logic was sound. :)

Yet we cannot overlook that the initial two ("childish" though you call them) are seminal to setting the story. And the second already ramps up the tension quite considerably. The rest are, of course, true teenage thrillers!

I enjoy hearing peoples opinions on things but one thing that URKS me is when someone say "this sucks and this is why" because it might not suck to everyone in that way and if you say that they'll go into it with negative vibe to start. So I feel like you should share what you like about something, but if the person hasn't seen it yet, you shouldn't say anything negative until afterward and then share your negativity lol. I hate seeing someone trying to make other people dislike what they dislike. "If you got nothing nice to say, say nothing at all." -Thumper lol
