I don't know his origins and haven't read the comics. Maybe the demon made a deal with heaven, hell or some other deity, to solve crimes to stay out of hell.

This may be weird but I think the reason I’m liking this show is that it has a whole “ecosystem” of super-powered beings (multiple superhero teams, super villains, demons, various types of alien races, etc.) with their own subplots/contribution to the Invincible universe at large. It makes the series feel expansive even if we only get glimpses of it only when it intersects with the lives of the main characters

Djimon Hounsou. He’s criminally underused in Hollywood. Some other films of his are Amistad, Blood Diamond. Gladiator, Guardians of the Galaxy and Shazam

That Astronaut on the ship isn't a bad thing, just a Martian who will be a bigger character later on, now the one on Mars, that's a slight threat, but don't worry about it now. You're pretty close on your Robot and Nolan theory, I just won't be specific lol

doctor being responsible is similar to super heroism i think, you are right in this case with nolan - but you said before that you thought atom eve had the right to ignore that responsibility... its a difficult problem to face

I do not remember how much they went into it on the show, but despite having one human parent, Mark is genetically less than 0.01% human. Probably part of why Earth was enough of a priority to send an infiltrator.

i think it was just meant to show a future story arc that would have taken to much focus away from the current story arc so they just used it as a throw away gag in the beginning of this episode to show how op omniman is because he is the one that sealed the door shut as he and mark flew over the desert and mark didn't even realize what had happened he just thought he and his dad were flying to fast and caused a sandstorm. omniman didn't even devote any more braincells to the issue either and the episode just continued from there.
