Has potential to be a good show , might do a binge on it. It's between this Ginny & Georgia , Anne With An E and The Society Uncut Commentary for this episode and other tv shows and movies is available on : www.patreon.com/SeanThompson
If you want to binge something I think you should definitely choose this show. In my opinion it is the most "binge-worthy" as it is really action-packed! It is also the one with the most complicated lore (out of the 3 shows) so it is best not to wait too long between episodes, otherwise you might forget some important information lol In comparison, Anne with an E is more of a slow-burn, reflective show so I don't know if it would make much sense to binge it? I love the show but I think you are meant to reflect on the heavy societal issues they bring on, after each episode, if that makes sense? And Ginny & Georgia is just full of drama in every single episode, so I guess wether you binge it or not you will always be entertained! This is just my personal opinion of course :) Great video, in any case!
@@amajachapman5621 if you're interested in the crows, i recommend reading the six of crows duology though its better to read the shadow and bone triology first to understand the world building. The six og cross duology is about the crows.
i’ve been watching shadow and bone reactors for the past few days and your perceptiveness is healing my soul from all the times other people missed stuff. kaz might be the most intriguing and complex character i’ve come across in books or shows before so even if this won’t be the show you binge (though please choose this one) i thoroughly enjoyed him getting he attention he deserves from just the first episode so thank you, great video!
the most unrealistic adaptation from the books and characterization is that they're trying to convince me that Kaz and Inej would willingly agree to an attempt to cross the fold and kidnap someone for only 1 million kruge.
True! Netflix literally tried to convince us that three characters that disagree with human trafficking, including a character that was trafficked, would suddenly agree with the idea of trafficking someone for a mere 1M Kruge. Like yeah, no, if Kaz even gave the idea of kidnapping a possible Saint a second thought in the books, Inej would have sliced and diced his a** to 5th harbor 😂.
Kaz and the crows are the best characters in this universe!!! they're from the six of crows books, and soon you'll meet the other three characters that are part of the gang
Kaz is the best, probably the reason I kept watching. The main issue I have with this show is that I didn’t read the books and it was pretty hard to follow
@@ExElliexE i mean, it made sense that they combined book 2 and 3. the pacing would be too weird otherwise, and that way in s3 they can fit more crows, stuff they missed from the third book and start the nikolai duology
@@stvrmistic3700I think they need to cover some stuff with the apparat (left out in season 2) before they hit KOS. David is probably my third favorite for the trilogy, so I'm personally upset at some changes they made...
Kaz is truly the most complex character I've every watched/read. You nailed it with his traumatic history (w pekka) they really explore it more in s2. His relationship w inej is also so unique and interesting they have a grip on me no other fictional relationship ever has. PLEASE KEEP ON WATCHING!!! also jesper is sexy asf k bye
This show is amazing, please binge it. Kaz and his crows are so interesting. I love this show so much. Season 2 just came out so I hope you binge that too
Since you were wondering what the people in red were The Grisha are basically color coded The ones in blue are Etherealki, either Squallers-air powers Inferni-fire powers Tidemakers-water powers The ones in red are Corporalki, either Healers-self explanatory Heartrenders-can manipulate and sense heart rates, so they can do things like see if people are telling the truth, calm people down, knock people out, fully kill people, etc. The ones in purple are Fabrikators, either Durasts-metal powers Alkemi-chemicals and poisons, etc.
This was a really good reaction! I loved how you analyze the characters and the things happening. I hope you keep watching! The new season is just released.
The crows are the only reason i watch the show I have read the Six of crows duology and loved it… im really mad they didnt give the crows their own show
Would definitely suggest you read the six of crows and crooked kingdoms if you’re interested in books. It is all about the Crows and you get more information on each character
shadow and bone is v bingable, especially for the crows and especially season 2 we get all six of them (kinda) in second season and they dive a bit deeper into them especially kaz we get his backstory
please binge! seriously one of, if not THE best reactions to this series I've seen- trust me in that fans of the show will give you the views this content deserves!
if you love Kaz & the crows, please binge the whole show!! if it gets enough numbers, they'll be able to make the spinoff based ENTIRELY ON KAZ & CREW so PLEASE lol 🙏
The title is my opinion exactly too. After watching, rewatching and rewatching both seasons, i skip most to get to the crows. I think everyone’s hoping for a spin off of kaz and the crows. Season 2 shows you kaz’s backstory better
i’m not saying the shadow and bone plot of the show isn’t good or anything and i love most of those characters, but i literally don’t care about it at all and have watched all of the show for the crows only lmao, really hope you pick this one though, the crows are such a great story and it’d be cool to see how you like the rest!
WAIT they had to change that story at the beginning because I have not seen this year ago when the show just came out btw the crows are literally the best characters on this show and most people watched it because of them. I recommend reading six of crows duology, its of course better than the show and its just so good
It still baffles me that Netflix thought they needed to mash S&B with Six of Crows. You don't need to read S&B to understand Six of Crows, and everyone agrees that Six of Crows was always the better series. S&B is for 12 year Olds, Six of Crows is for people who like stories like the Peaky Blinders.
Book Kaz is even better! He's only supposed to be seventeen, but he's much more resouceful and brutal, but also a lot smarter and smoother; his schemes are like a chess game that he always wins. The chapter where he's introduced already starts with a little plot twist because he thought of literally every single outcome and used dirty tricks while having a dispute with a rival gang. I couldn't really get into show!Kaz. As some people have said, if book!Kaz and show!Kaz met, show!Kaz would be dead within three minutes.
Idk I just think it was quite impressive how he set up the conductor. That was definitely a chess game move. Also in episode 2 he interrogated that woman counting cards which impressed me. What I didn’t like is him getting beat up by Pekka Rollins but in season 2 Kaz shines more with fighting which I’m glad. I think because us readers have this image of him before going in that we think “why is he so dumb” whereas people who haven’t read the books are like “wow this guy is smart” lol
Please binge this and get to ethe second season! I read the books and now I am obsessed with the show. Season 2 is even better and has so much crows in it, kaz is the star and has a loto of EPIC scenes
Kaz and the Crows are popular because their book series “Six of Crows” is the most popular and loved series by Leigh Bardugo Six of Crows is much better written, had higher stakes, much better character writing and arcs etc
