The gist of it is: it’s a unique lightsaber that has become the symbol of rulership on Mandalore. Since we know from the Covert and other people’s passing remarks that the planet was rendered uninhabitable, we can therefore deduce that if Gideon has the darksaber, he must be the one who lead the Imperial attack. So Mando - Din Djarin - has a reason to hate this guy even more than he realizes but while we the audience know this, he doesn’t yet.

Great reaction! That ending was huge for us back then. Seeing the Dark Saber in live action was amazing! You will get it in later CW seasons and in Rebels, too.

The dark saber is explained in sea 4 ep 12 of TCW then continues through rebels. Maybe watch that episode out of order? That arc might be useful before watching season 2 of Mando. Rebels season 3 episode 11 starts its Mandalorian arc. Since you've already seen Ahsoka, watching those arcs shouldn't spoil anything for you, & teaches you about an upcoming character a bit. It will ruin one important part of rebels about kanan though if you watch it.

For TCW, I'd watch 3 episodes in a row, do a 1 min reaction at the end of each one, then a few mins after all 3. Do 3 episodes at a time, that's about an hour of watch time, & you'll get through it faster. Label them season 1 ep 3 , 4, 5. I don't ever recall seeing anybody doing 1 ep at a time full video for TCW. For Rebels most ppl did 1 ep at a time. TCW is completely different. Its not one long story with seasons. Its episodic with lots of episodes centering around various characters & is situational. It's more like Star Trek in that sense. For example I'd skip the moncari & most of the Padme arcs if it were me b/c I didn't particularly like them, & they don't add that much to the overall story of Star Wars. Rebels is one long story that keeps building, so you kind of need to watch all of it. Just do whatsevers best for you. You watched ahsoka already, right?

You're probably getting lower views for Clone Wars cause the more interesting episodes/arcs don't happen until midway into season 3... FYI at the end Moff Gideon is holding the Darksaber. It's history & journey is shown in the animated shows.

Glad you’re enjoying the Mandalorian. It’s really an entertaining show. I do hate that you’re not going to continue with the Clone Wars and Rebels because you’ll get so much more out of the Mandalorian, Ashoka, Bad Batch, etc. watching those will only enrich your enjoyment and fun with what you are watching. I understand the numbers are lower, but they’ll pick up as you watch the episodes; maybe pick the most critical arcs of Clone wars to watch to start bc there are some people like more than others and will watch those reactions. Anyway I understand; I just think you’d like the Star Wars content better if you kept watching it. I’m not an anime person but definitely a Star Wars fan. I love your reactions to the shows bc it’s like watching it for the first time myself.

You're doing good bruh. You need The Clone Wars if you want the knowledge and understand what The Mandalorian is all about. Skipping needed media will only leave you confused later.

Unfortunately, Clone Wars has a lot of filler episodes. So much of the fandom is not really into watching EVERY episode with you. There are lists of "Important Arcs" you can find out there. The lows are boring on the 5+ times watched, but the highlights are still amazing after 100 watches. Maybe watch on your own time and Petreon them all uneditied. Only take the time to edit and RU-vid the big arcs. The ones you will get hundreds of watches on.

The animated stuff will never get as many views as the live action stuff. There's a much wider audience for live action. Rebels will do a lot better than TCW.

I've noticed about live action. Luckily I genuinely enjoy clone wars so it's gonna get watched either way. Just the release order will likely shift.

@@kaygee2121If you've seen half of Rebels finish it. It gets awesome the last two seasons. Really great stuff. TCW eps are hit & miss. The good ones are as good as SW gets. The bad ones are boooring. That's what happens when you have 133 eps over 7 seasons. If you're not really into Anakin & that story it's hard to get the motivation to watch it. On the flip side, once you watch TCW the Prequels become much more enjoyable. Matt Lanter did such a better job with Anakin than Hayden did. Really brought the character to life & made him a war hero. Wish we had seen that Anakin in the movies. Same thing with Ashley Eckstein voicing Ahsoka, so much better than Rosario.

@PourReactions if you're going to keep watching Clone Wars, it's all fine, even if we are not getting it all. The important thing is that you watch it. Later seasons will positively bring more views. You should try doing more than one episode at a time. Anyway, you'll do whatever you deem best for your channel. And we'll be here to watch whenever it comes out!

@@kaygee2121 They'll need energy. There's no energy creation without organics & an atmosphere. Everything you need to create machines & keep them running, all of the resources necessary to do that are made by man. More importantly, it's not raw processing that's a threat. It's consciousness, self determination, motivation, & will. Computers have none of those things, & even if that's possible & we get to that point, we'll all be long gone. It's what's going on in the world today & that the media is promulgating the bad guys, promoting the wrong people, ignoring the rule of law, etc. that will throw us into a tailspin long before that...
