Hey man, just a suggestion, please listen to the vid and make sure your voice is at least as loud as the song. I had to annoy my neighbours by turning the music up too loud so I could hear you xD
I'm def a SOAD stan, and I didn't appreciate them until I was well into my 20s, even though my closest friends in middle school loved them. Musically they are just sensational. Their albums are incredible, straight through no stops, all bangers, all pieces of art. but GOD DAMNIT YOU PAUSED IT BEFORE THE SONG FINISHED BOTH TIMES. They bring it back hard to finish. When you said it's the end of the video I yelled "NO IT'S NOT"
Love this one, there are only like six other people who have made video reactions to it lol. Serj is such a good singer. I am gonna keep suggesting Hypnotize (by SOAD) lol, there are similar vocal parts in that as this one as well
SOAD songs you can react to: Radio/Video Roulette Holy Mountains Dreaming Sad Statue Lost in Hollywood those are the best in my opinion, hope you'll like them all :)
Guys it's not like there was something special in the end, it's just the same riff and tbh I'm not a big fan of it coming back like that. Great reaction bro
Agreed, I hadn't heard question for about 6 or 7 years. I stumbled back into it about 6 months ago. I honestly believe it is one of SOADs best songs. Granted when I listen to almost any SOAD song I say "this has to be one of the best SOAD songs". Which is stunning to me that every single song is so good. Even some of the really odd ones like "She's Like Heroin" are astonishingly good. When I first heard them I don't think I could fully appreciate them but coming back to them years later I'm just flabbergasted at how good even the more odd songs SOAD produced are.
This band is what I trained my self on drums to. Grew up w punk etc, but like this gave me a bigger appreciation for it and art. I appreciate them so much.
This song is so beautiful and complex, truly a beautifully composed song using time signatures the western isn’t used to in the best way, as they always do. No one else can do what they did for music at the time or even now.
You have to hear the whole album. All the songs blend into one another like storytelling. After you react to the videos from each album, get them and listen to them in order.
Pro tip: If you turn off autoplay you don't have to pause at the end of videos. Like everyone else said, you finished prematurely. Not a great habit in any form.
@Oficcialcammm hey man, can I get you an advice? Maybe consider taking off the intro, or just remaking into something shorter. The research shows it messes with the retention and interest. Love your videos.
Yep, and retention is one of the major parts of your statistics youtube uses to either push out your video into feeds or not. Even people just skipping your intros can hurt your retention stats and hurt the channel
Forest, sad statue, deer dance, jet pilot, the cocaine makes me feel. All amazing SOAD songs. If you like the anti establishment rock stuff get on the Rage against the machine kick. My favorite is know your enemy or freedom.
I have such vivid memories of this song on loop when I was 14, while I leveled fishing in RuneScape on a spare computer at my childhood friend's house. His mother was beating us at the grind even though she was a High School teacher to boot, so I listened to SOAD and In Flames back to back to lessen the insanity of Fishing. I always get a wave of nostalgia for both this song and the game when I listen.
I have a request, plz react to indianfolkmetal band Dymbur - Child Abuse.. These guys write song on social issues that the world doesn't talk about.. I'd appreciate if you'd check em out.. thanks
Hey dude you should react to W.A.S.P. if you can. The Crimson Idol is an amazing album. Chainsaw Charlie (Murders in the new morgue) is one of the best songs on the album.
