FIRST TIME WATCHING: The Conjuring 2 (Horror Edition)...that's a FREAKY NUN 

Should we do Insidious or another franchise next? We have both already seen the Paranormal movies.

A thing most people didn't realize is that the old man ghost that died at the chair is actually trying to help the family, scaring them out of the house so they not end dead and trapped like him.

fun fact: if you look closely when Lorraine and her daughter are in their livingroom and Lorraine dreams about the demon, you can see the name VALAK in the bookcase next to her....

The bit with the nun's shadow and the painting is for me one of the creepiest if not the scariest part of this movie. Such a simple concept but freaky as hell. I love the conjuring movies, cannot wait for the new one to come out.

Fun Fact: The actual real lady that got posessed, took over the home later and died in the chair exactly like the old men, by falling asleep.

What's nice in those movies is that they are in a horror movie and all that but their marriage is so good and wholesome. It's cute! Also, what is it that when I watch with you instead of being less scared I am more scared hahah

Don’t freak out guys 😂 Ed died of a natural death in the early 2000s and Lorraine recently (meaning 2018 or 19) passed away the same way

The Others, Hereditary, Babadook, Exorcist, Descent, Autopsy of Jane Doe, Exorcism of Emily Rose, Occulus, Lights out, The Orphanage, The woman in black, The thing are all worth a watch. They all bring something special to the horror genre. I think it's all great choices for a reaction.

A worthy sequel to a solid, original horror movie 👌

Amityville is pretty brutal. The guy that shot his family told the police that voices told him to shoot his family and was possessed. It’s still a really famous case to this day- I’d actually recommend the movie either the original or the remake with Ryan Reynolds. Apparently the family that did move in after the brutal murders believed the house was haunted and fled the house one night without their stuff, they just left one night out of pure terror.

The nun is definitely not the best of the universe but the ending is so crazy that it makes up for any of the “bad” in it.

I literally just saw this movie and I loved it! It's been 20 years since I last saw a scary movie (that's how much I'm terrified of these things) but for some reason, I'm not scared of these movies. Yes, the jump scares are anxiety-inducing (lol) but I feel ok maybe because The Warrens are such amazing protagonists and I believe in them and somehow they're increasing my faith too.

Here's something interesting for this story: Lorainne Warren is still alive, and her house of haunted relics exists. And yes, Annabelle is there.

The true story is called the Enfield ghost in UK I believe and alot of the haunting is just like in the film...scary..the police witnessed the paranormal activity in real life too. I remember this story on the news when I was little. freaked me the hell out watching this.

Also quick trivia the scene in the Warren’s kitchen features the name of the demon VALAK on the fridge, some magnets, etc, all littered throughout the scene. Watch it again when their daughter comes into the kitchen. @10:20.

You can still access the police reports from the officers that came back to the station and reported seeing a chair levitate ( not slide) all the officers were asked to retract the reports or go on a leave of absence and all of them went on the leave , none returned (the 2 thst were still alive and claimed none of them ever once denied or retracted their report and were not allowed back unless they did. 3 police officers with families lost their jobs careers and pensions instead of even just lying snd teeing their commander they were mistaken. Reading all 3 reported which are accessible still scare the hell out of me,

You need to do the whole Conjuring Universe. But I do support you taking a break and doing insidious in between

This is my most favorite amongst all Conjuring movies.. not only because it's scary but I love the story more.. especially Janet's character.. she's like the strongest and also the most pitiful one like.. I just want to hug her throughout the movie 😭

The most unrealistic part of this film is how big the English council House is, the rooms and landing are huge

I saw the first movie like 2 days before this, couldn’t finish it by myself, my mom wanted to see this with me during a day screening but I begged to go that night. The painting scene legitimately gave me issues sleeping that night.

Lorraine's visions at the beginning are very similar to Will Graham's abilities in Hannibal, the series. It's very cool, I highly recommend it.

I agree. Practically the actor and actress who play as the Warrens; Patrick and Vera are the ones who made me love the sequels. Their chemistry with each other is phenomenal as a couple. I personally think they both look great together IF they were a real couple honestly. No hate to their spouses. Just saying. 😅

the really weird part about the paintings, is that is how they made their money, they never charged family's for the help they gave, only interviews or speaking engagements, books and their paintings. So Ed's paintings in the movies are a real thing, you can also watch the real interview with Janet.

This is by far my favorite Conjuring movie, possibly in the universe itself. I love that it's set in England, the dynamic of the single mom struggling to take care of the kids, and the integration of Ed and Lorraine's relationship. From what I've researched, it's far from accurate, but it's for entertainment, so I don't care too much about that.

Watching from England. I can confirm this is accurate. 🤣 Please keep doing the Conjuring universe! It's nice with the new one (The Devil Made Me Do It) being out soon too! You should also watch The Amityville Horror (original and remake)

idk if y’all noticed but in the end we’re Lorraine was casting Valak back to hell, it shows Valak going back to its true form. It’s true form is with two horns on the head was a tease of what it’s true form was like. The reason why Valak portrayed as a Nun is to go against and mock Lorraines and Ed’s faith and to draw power from that.

The two Conjuring films and the three Insidious films make me so very happy! I mean, they scare the hell out of me, but I love watching well-plotted stories! I also recommend Sinister, both films, a little bizarre and tropey but such interesting ideas!

It's a shame the real Ed & Lorrain Warren wasn't very good people... I learned of their abusive relationship just recently and it broke my heart. All these movies are based on real, documented cases.

Have only recently found this channel - you guys are great. Currently binge watching your vids 😁 Fun fact: The Enfield Poltergeist (the case this film is based on) is pretty famous here in the UK. I accidentally saw a programme on it when I was about 9-10 years old and it scared the living crap out of me. The old archive footage makes it all the more creepy. That's why I put off watching this film for so long 😆 so I'm glad I can do it with you guys now.

I strongly recommend “The Nun” next instead of Annabelle! As it ties more into the first two movies you watched. Then do “Annabelle” then “Annabelle Creation” and then “Annabelle Comes Home” Then throw in “The Curse Of La Llorona”

Alternative title: Two logical people watch unlogical people get haunted by a nun :) If you guys like the video game halo, their is a movie on RU-vid called halo 4 forward unto dawn its honestly pretty underrated. The first half of it is a bit slow but it gets a lot better in the last half of the movie :)

I remember this when it actually happened in UK. It was on the news, The Enfield ghost. The police did visit the house and experinced paranormal activity. They were interviewed by the BBC and included it in their official report. The photos in the movie were the actual photo's taken originally. The ghost talking through the girl was the original recordings of the girl speaking. The girl was caught throwing stuff around the kitchen and the whole thing was dismissed as a hoax.

when u watch insidious, i would recommend only watching the first 2 bc the 3rd and 4th ones were actual jokes fkfkfk i remember watching the 4th one in theatres and everyone was laughing and making jokes it was SOOOO BAD

So last time in 1st Conjuring i did mentioned that this is my fav coz I did experience similar things happened. What I did experience in my mom's old house mostly i feel my feet yanked at night (maybe 7-10 times) ehen I live there for 7 years. I didn't know this one legit or not but one time my uncle sleep at wake up in other part of the house 🤷🏻‍♀️ Things gone and switched places. My brother doppelganger sometime appears in front of the house (my brother was studied at different city that time. 7 hours away from my city) But what happened always every night and almost everyday, was someone knocking and twisting our door knob (this happened around 9pm-12 am. No one there because it's a patio door, so we can see that's no one behind it). But like I did mentioned too, somehow we managed to ignore them like there's nothing at all. I don't know how tho... if I have to remember that, there's nooo waaay we want to return to that house. 🤣🤣🤣

Fun Fact:The Ammvtyiille Horror was a case that the warrens did even though the movie was not by the same people who created the conjuring it is still cannon to the conjuring universe as seen in the flashback to Loraine Warren in conjuring 2 also the conjuring two takes after conjuring one but the nun takes place before everything the nun takes place before the warrens were even a thing and the conjuring 3 takes place in the 80s or 70s and is the first time america ever had a court case of the supernatural they also have a website that the warrens created that has all the files on their and a actual museum has the actual Annabelle doll in it and everything then at Zak Baggins museum they have the actual rocking chair that was based on the conjuring 3 the devil made me do it
