Fun fact they mention in the books. Every kid involved in the maze is named after a scientist Thomas = Edison, Newt = Issac Newton, Gally = Galileo, Alby = Einstein.. etc

I said it once and I'll say it again : "baby face" Thomas Brodie-Sangster, who was 24 year old in this movie, is LITERALLY a vampire. Like he still looks 17 today. He was the kid in Love Actually btw 🙃

I remember reading the books years ago and then getting excited when I found out movies were also out. The movies definitely changed things up. But I still think they're pretty enjoyable

The other films are really good it doesn’t exactly follow the books but what’s introduced next with the other trials is so interesting and it’s a shame they never adapted the prequels in any way because it adds to the story even more

Dylan O’Brien is such an amazing actor in every movie/TV he’s been in. I recommend teen wolf if you want to see more of him but it’s a long ass show so you’ve gotta be committed lol.

I knew you would have liked this movie! Your reaction to Chuck - honestly, the whole fandom was with you. I don't think there's a single soul who's read the books and/or watched the movies who didn't get attached to him and didn't feel what happened to him. I really hope you're gonna continue watching. this trilogy of both movies and books is one of my favourite dystopian series just about ever. theres just something about the world and how it is written/filmed that just hits the right way, so basically, watch the two other movies like rn😊😊

idk if people have mentioned this, but as someone who read the books, it bugs me that the sun scorched the world, and yet i the movies the maze is above ground and the guys get direct sunlight. In the book, the whole maze is underground, the sky is a ceiling, and it's all powered by electricity. They have showers, a kitchen with appliances even. So they are not affected by the sun that mind you after they leave it is described to give you terrible burns after a few minutes of exposure to it so they traveled by covering themselves with cloths. ofc there's other stuff that bugs me, but now that I re read these books recently, it is one of the things that just doesn't make sense in the movies. The point is that the sun never really stopped being dangerous even after it is said that it cooled down as time went on.
