FUN FACTS: 1. Charlotte, the secretary was Gary Marshall's daughter. 2. The twins asking for autographs were Charlotte and Lily Marshall. 3. Mia's father was Mr. Hathaway himself. 4. You will see some people and parallel scenes between Princess Diaries and Pretty Woman. 5. Although it was not confirmed, Princess Diaries has some similarities with the story of a 14-year-old American who discovered she's the daughter of the Prince of Monaco. 😉

The scene where Anne fell on the bleachers wasn’t scripted. She actually fell! No one broke character and the director left it in lol. Also, those nose strips do seriously hurt!

The Princess Diary movies are loosely based on the book series of the same name. There are more books than the movies and the plot is different, e.g. has Mia interacted with her father and that I also remember her grandmother in the books. I don't remember if Mia knows she's a princess at the beginning of the book series, but she does know her dad, but in the movies she never seems to have met her father.

Mia's frizzy hair is/was a wig.
