Holy Moly. Production quality on these videos just keeps getting better. The close ups of everything, clarity of the video, JB explaining everything especially how to bail. I'm a bit more advanced than these tricks but you do such a thorough job explaining I gotta support w/ my view! Setting a good foundation is so important in skateboarding, and future generations of skateboarders will greatly benefit from these videos.I wish I had these when I was starting out! Pick your curbs wisely! It took me too long to learn these because the curb I picked had groove in the concrete that was slowing my wheels and telling my feet to bail early. Once I found a curb without and extra cracks or grooves riding off was simple. Also if your still having problems find smaller curbs and work you way up.

Dude!! I'm 39. I tried out this stupid sport because I dig my girlfriend, and "middle ground middle ground," this way I could go with and all the talking about all the things would start to take meaning. She helped me up my birdhouse board with softer bigger wheels and indy trucks and now it all makes sense!!! so addictive. But you my friend are the icing on the cake! I can learn this. you're videos are effing solid! I have a sports/martial background, and in my heart know your instructions are EXCELLENT. Head shoulders knees and toes man, you make sure you cover all the important body mechanics, and I am grateful. Just watched a cpl again, and am gearing up for a Rodney like night session where I can fall down lots and try this stuff. TY! GF says TY cause now Im in!

Man, i been skating for like three years now just to get around, mostly street surfing and some of these tricks absolutely blow my mind. So basically, i was trying the one where you go off a curb but with cruiser wheels on a street and so i went off the sidewalk and that little hump of asphalt that connects the road to the sidewalk got in the way and i ate sh*t 💀 Anyway thats just my little story, nice video 👍

This winter I decided to try skating in the parking garage in apartment building where I live. Works great, but you of course have to be careful not to send your board flying into a parked car! :)

Today I picked up a new board. first time I've bought one for about 15 years. I haven't ridden in about 10 years now due to injuries slowing me down broken ankle,broken collar bone broken ribs torn muscles in my back,I was kinda scared but I went right back to where I used to skate and that place is fdr skatepark,I can't do what I did many years ago gotta pretty mich research myself but I think I may watch these videos for refreshing

even you going over stuff I "know how to do" after a few weeks of skating is really helping with adding some knowledge to the beginnings of muscle memory. will try some higher curbs now and bend those knees :)

46yo and i started skating again after 20 years just two weeks ago. Man! Glad i am still more advanced than this tutorial vid lol. Excellent vid btw. This will give many new skaters confidence and a desire to skate.. It worked for my old ass! Lol I'm going out for a sesshh ✌
