I love sewing bags! I’ve been making bags for about 5 years now and I’m super stocked to see you making some totes! Also there is waterproof canvas that is pretty cheap and it adds some structure to your bags with out having to add foam or interfacing :)

Hi Taylah. Love watching you! Spotlight have a fold out ironing mat that technically is meant to go on top of your washer or dryer. But I just purchased it for my craft room! Folds up to nothing!

Canvas at spotlight regularly comes up at 40% off. When I went the other day there was an extra 30% when you finish the bolt. It ends on the 16 July idk if it was a special just at my local one. It was advitised at the cutting register in the apparel fabric. It is also worth getting some calico for trialling patterns it is cheap even when not on sale, but it also comes on sale regularly.

With the straps, when stitching them down, you should have gone across the top between the two stitch lines when you first attached them. Then when sewing the lining/outside turn opening closed, fold the handles back down so they do not get caught in the seam. You DEFINITELY need interfacing on the outer pieces.
