I have been doing your yoga for fertility since last year. What an emotional experience to finally move to prenatal flows❤ i will see you frequently through the next 8 months❤ thank you for all you do P.s. those birds chirping are so relaxing❤
Thanks Bettina, this is my second of your classes. I did one session when I started my first cycle of IVF before Christmas and tomorrow I will be 6 weeks pregnant :) I am excited to continue this journey with your classes. Thank you for sharing. Namaste.
I am 4 weeks pregnant, I had symptoms for my 2-week wait. but now I just feel cramping, back pain, urination, and some headache. this video really helps me a lot to reduce my back pain and relax my mind. it's my first-time pregnancy, feeling excited and scary. thank you for sharing it.
After 2 years of TTC, I finally get to move from your fertility yoga playlist to your pregnancy one!!!! 🤰I'm about 4.5 weeks. I needed this today. I have no pregnancy symptoms other than i'm slightly more hungry, bloated and a menstrual type pain. I so far feel better than I normally do and have less pregnancy symptoms than I have with PMT, which is why I never thought I was pregnant this month. Have you got any good flows for digestion/bloating? As that seems to be an issue at the mo with the hormone changes. I loved this practice and my cramping feels better for it x
Oh this is just the BEST news! Congratulations Rebecca. There’s not much you can do specifically for digestion yoga wise as compression of the belly is out during pregnancy. Any of my gentle pregnancy classes or first trimesters will help and just try to drink more water than usual. 💜
4 weeks and 5 days, No pain but feeling achy the last couple days and Im sure the way I have been sleeping hasn't helped. This really helped, I've been so scared to move hardly at all but this was just what I needed.
Thanks you for this practice. I have been following you for year and a half. Every morning (religiously) I practiced with you for fertility. I am now so emotionally happy for star practicing yoga with you on my six week of pregnancy. You help me a lot in very difficult moments and now through out this exciting stage full different emotions. Thank you. Bless for you and family.
This was exactly what I needed! Nothing crazy but felt so good, especially to my lower back. Short and sweet, perfect for the exhausted mama. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video, and your others! I'm in the first trimester and have been really missing my yoga practice- I'm so grateful for your videos 💜
This is so calm and easy other than excercise..im just to tired to do extremely excercise...im just 7 weeks..blooting and nausea..feeling sleepy whole day..this really help me..thank you so much!!!
This is my 1st pregnancy by the way but I had the day off of work today and was trying to relax but just felt my belly stressing and my body aching so I found this video and I feel quite better! I really do need to do this video often felt so good to stretch my body and ease my mind.
I know you said it’s not the best for people who have never done yoga but I’m a first timer and let me say I am so relaxed and ready to just fall asleep
Loved this video. My husband & I are TTC, so I'm looking for some good flows for before the positive test so I don't put strain unknowingly. This is perfectly gentle, but I still got a good stretch and breathing. Thanks!
Hi, this was great, I'm 4 weeks pregnant with my third. I have 2 boys under 3 years so a nice short yet effective yoga video was exactly what I needed. How do I get the flow videos please? Thanks alot
Thanks for this amazing video! I’m having my first pregnancy (4w+) and realised I couldn’t pick yoga practices randomly as my body feels so tired. The pregnancy yoga is perfect for me!
Thank you for your videos Bettina, after 2,5 yrs of ivf and icsi and about a year of your fertility yoga classes I can now finally move onto the pregnancy playlist being 5 wks pregnant after our last (ever) transfer. I'm quite anxious but hopefull, tired but want to feel and be fit and your videos are a great support. I used to practice power-vinyasa flow as well, but I've now switched to a yin yoga class. Is there anything or any pose you recommend not doing during pregnancy? Thank you so much 🙏
Congratulations!!! I’m so so happy for you. Have you downloaded my pregnancy yoga guide? I have all the info in there but briefly - avoid compressing the belly or any core work (we want to let the belly be soft now). Also watch out for overstretching and overheating. Look after you! 💜
Im 5 weeks and 5days pregnant i have ohss so my lower abdomen, my stomach and my backwaist is so painful i walk like a grandma.. and doctor told me to try yoga for my backwaist i have twins by the way
Hi thank you for gentle moves. I am in my 4th and while doing it, I had stretched my legs little high and now there is a pain near naval area. Is it something I should worry about??
We want to avoid anything that causes pain. Best to leave this practice for now. I'd suggest focusing on meditation in early pregnancy and letting your body just focus on growing that beautiful baby.
I'm 6 weeks 4 days, and I feel like my side is stretching there's something I be thinking my first baby can't sleep that well at night.what can I do? I've never really work out I've try in the pass.
Do you mean you feel uncomfortable in your side body and can't sleep because of it? At this early stage it's likely that you are just growing rapidly, but if you feel pain definitely go and see your doctor to get checked out. Have you got a pregnancy pillow? It can help you get comfortable at night. Even just having a pillow between your knees and maybe a small blanked under the belly a little can help. Good luck. :)
I've been doing hot yoga for 4 years now. I love inversions and arm balances. I just found out Im 5 weeks pregnant. I had such a tough time the other day during flow. Is it safe to still do hot yoga? Ive made so much progress and want to continue my practice.
Congratulations! I don’t recommend you practice hot yoga while pregnant no. You are already at risk of over-heating whilst pregnant and obviously hot yoga makes this worse. You can continue to do arm balances and inversions up til about 4/5 months as long as you are controlled and feel good. After that you’ll probably need to give them a rest until after baby arrives. It can be hard to let go but I personally believe it’s better to be safe than sorry. Xx
@@BettinaRae ok. I've been told twice now that it's not a good idea. My baby is more important so I need to do what's best for it. I'll secretly mourn my practice until after delivery. I'll start to watch your videos to help keep my practice going. Thank so much!
I had a miscarriage at 3 months... It 7 months now and today is the 5th day of my missed period.. I did a home pregnancy test and line is really faint... Im concerned now... Is the faint line okay or indicate any issue?
@@BettinaRae this reply means a lot...that faint line did not let me sleep for two nights.... I have been following your videos since long.... thank you ❤️
You could do this once a day if you like. First up in the morning is great because you will probably still feel energetic. Remember your body is doing a LOT at this stage of pregnancy so if some days all you feel like doing is sleeping, listen to that and rest.
How do you mean? Lift them off the wall to supported shoulder stand? If you've been doing it before pregnancy and still feel good, yes this is fine. Usually after 5 months we recommend skipping the inversions but they often don't feel good by then anyway.
