I’ve used mine to change Metzlers Karoo streets, Mitas E10, motoz tractionator gps on my2021 Africa twin as. Works great, technique, practise and lube very important.
Camera man was on point in this video. Might be the best POV I’ve ever seen. Job well done with those MoooottttoooZ 🍿🍿 #NortthIdahoTireChaningBeast #FansLoveYouDan
Is mounting a Mousse- filled Rear and Front Tire also possible to mount with it? (...yes i know theres an other machine for but its still always that fight that it doesnt flip over the other side or that you doesn't loose a teeth...especially if you do it alone...)
I have a T7 with tubed tires - the OEMs were a bit challenging to remove, but I am on my 2nd set of MotOz ADVs and they went on fairly smoothly. I was considering investing in this tool for future tire changes - is it the same process for tubed tires as well? (obviously some additional steps for changing the tube).
Good first use video, thanks for sharing. One point though - to stop spoked wheels from rotating, the supplied strap is recommended. The post you used is intended for cast wheels and could result in damage to the spokes.
Someone did not read the instructions that come with the unit, or even watch the dozens of videos available that show you how to use the duck head correctly or the strap for spoked wheels! 😂
FYI, you're not supposed to use the Pin with spoked wheels, they include a strap to use instead. Otherwise you are likely to bend or break a spoke. They also give some great tips in the manual or on their RU-vid on where to position the valve stem when changing tires with TPMS.
I've only used mine once so far but definitely on the next tire change it'll be so quick. Just remember a lot of tire grease it goes on and off like butter.
That looks pretty painless with the Motoz, I’ve got the off road tyre changer, I’ve changed a Tractionator rear and it’s a good bit more effort. That’s great if you use your Adventure bike as intended and swap tyres regularly. Well explained and filmed, Thanks.
I thought the same thing, he made it look super simple. I've seen some other Rabaconda videos where the guys struggle, big time, with both removal and remount.
Thanks for the video. I bough the moose racing one that is a copy about a year ago but haven’t used it yet. To scared I’ll lose my crap and break everything when it all goes south. Tired of spending the money and will try it soon!
Taking the front wheel off the bike, or taking the tire off the front wheel? Taking the front tire off the wheel is just like the back you just don’t have to use the adapter.
@@backcountryadvmoto i was thinking taking the tire off the bike, then tire off rim. Since it would be more content and if someone had never seen the back process you just did
