I am always saying WE GOT THIS in real life and online. We all have our own struggles and I believe we can get through anything together. When I was diagnosed with cancer in September, I thought this was my own struggle but I realised my cancer has affected everyone around me. I am a daughter, a girlfriend, a sister, a friend, a cousin, a grand daughter & more. I recently lost a family member to this disease, much older than you or I when he was diagnosed, Tiff, but still no less devastating to deal with. I only mention this because he spoke so highly of the NHS, and declined treatment as things progressed as he wanted precious resources to go to younger people, people like you who still have an entire lifetime ahead of them. He was very brave, fearless and selfless, and it amazed me to hear him so considerate of others while he was experiencing so much himself. So I just wanted to say, as you go thru all of this, as you continue fighting and recovering, I know my Uncle would’ve been extremely proud of your courage and happy to see you coming out the other side of this difficult journey. There’s comfort in knowing not only are you beating this, but in a way I feel you’re beating this on behalf of those who couldn’t... you’re a little ray of light, Tiff. Keep shining, keep feeling better, keep showing cancer you got this! 💙🙏🏼🥰

Tiffany, you’re not going to believe this! I came across a young lady also on YT and she was commenting about you and your bravery and the cancer surgery! She was in tears! So sweet! You are reaching so many people Tiffany. Even through your suffering you are influencing others positively. This young lady in tears said if Tiffany can endure all of her pain and the changes she’s going through and still reach out to others then we should be able to! And we shouldn’t complain! She’s so right! I watch these videos and I must remind myself that you are beyond all of the pain, wires and uncomfortableness of the surgery. You are home and much further along now! Just before you said it, I thought it: soon you will look back at this and see how far you’ve come. From the first video you posted after surgery up to today’s, I can already see a million little victories. When you walked, it was like watching a little baby bird learning to fly for the first time😊I was like : Yayyy! Tiffany is walking!!! Just remember: a certain degree of depression and emotional fluctuations are absolutely normal after surgery. You’ve had life changing surgery. Allow yourself to feel whatever it is you are feeling without feeling guilt or shame. It’s all a normal part of your healing. You are so brave. So very brave.

The Doctor was waiting six weeks before hormonal treatment as well. That alone can be a real factor. Everyone reacts differently, but I hit rock bottom after surgery until they provided to balance me out. We really rely on our reproductive parts for that balance.

You are so brave Tiffany. Your up and downs are totally normal. Depression is totally normal. My son had a HUGE surgery like you and was in the hospital for 28 days and came home on TPN and ANTIBOTICS. He had a flap to close his hole in his stomach that they used from his leg/thigh, so he had drains all over the place. They had to take 1/4 of his liver so he had issues with that for a week or two, but he finally felt like himself a few months after he was home. You will do fine. It takes a while to get that strength back. You are amazing just like my son.

I've had multiple surgeries as a child and as an adult. I know the depth of the exhaustion you feel, like your body is made of lead and even holding a cup of liquid/broth makes you feel weak. I know how bad the pain can be too, but the way you're handling everything, the brightness of your attitude and you're just so obviously a wonderful, sweet, caring person. That attitude is helping you so much, and will continue to help you throughout the whole process. It's so great that you have Matt and Amma and the rest of your family as support too. With all of these things there's nothing to stop you now! Each day will get a little better, sometimes just a fraction it seems! But you'll get there! I absolutely love everything about you. I know I'm just another comment but right now my mum has been super Ill she has had emergency spinal surgery from a massive infection in her spinal cord, inflammation on her brain, hornas syndrome, and nerve damage to her hand. she had pockets of poison and poisoned tissue removed from her C1 to C7 vertebrae and septic C7/ T1 had the tops of her vertebrae removed and put back on so they could get to her spinal cord, they removed all the infection that was travelling up her cord , she has sepsis in her blood and a staph infection it was alot and recovery is a long journey, she's been confused and her personality totally changed due to the inflammation on her brain, it's been so so hard to get through it, I live with my mum too and I miss her so incredibly much. She has nerve damage in her hand and it's not very easy to use, this is a massive change for her, she's so young in herself and so strong and it's been a battle since the 2nd of January as things just got worse and worse untill on the 13th they did this op and she's still in hospital now, I've been using your videos to give me hope at what is possible and strength. although the illnesses are very different you are a inspiration and you've given me hope throughout this time. Thank you so so much. Your are so strong and positive I watch you in awe everytime. Keep going tiff. 💕 I hope you all the best in your recovery. And I'll be here watching all the way, I'm so glad I found your channel last summer. 🥰☺️

This is so important to see, the reality of what you have been through. It has been a learning experience for so many of us. oh Tiffany, my heart goes out to you. I know what it's like as I have gone through the same. Having surgery brings such a rollercoaster of emotions. Then recovery seems endless... such a hard journey. I want to give you some encouragement though. I had the surgery 2021, then chemo. I have been NED (no evidence of disease) since then. I have 3 mthly scans and bloods and after nearly 2 years since being diagnosed, I am still in remission! I have a very strong faith and am feeling very positive (which I think helps a lot). Watching your videos, brings back so many memories for me and I want you to know, that it does get better... you are on the road to complete remission (as am I) and we've got this! You're in my prayers Tiffany xxx

Precious Tiffany you are a true princess warrior 💙 I am going through chemo treatments, I just had my 6th so I’m halfway through. I sit and cry at the thought of what my dad went through and how hard it was on him. I feel very blessed that I was able to be by his side as he so bravely fought without ever complaining. I never knew how hard it was until I experienced it first hand. It’s not for the weak and I’m definitely not as strong as I was when I was in my 40’s or 50’s. You are one of the strongest most beautiful young women I know and I admire you for the love you show everyone, your upbeat personality is commendable. Your RU-vid videos just popped up on my RU-vid and my heart ❤️ goes out to you. Bless you for being so positive. I just had major stomach surgery on the 21st of December and it brought back tears for me knowing what you’re going through. I’ve had 14 surgeries which one I ended up getting a bad flesh eating bacteria which ended up being so hard on me. I was in an American hospital for a year. It was so extremely difficult on me and I think what got me through it all was being great full for everything I have in life. Even when I finally got to come home and had a home nurse come everyday to change my dressings and help me out just in general, that she said, I have never met someone so happy and positive about life. I told her my secret…. I said, just be grateful for everyday on this beautiful planet. Just know that people like me from around the world are praying and being supportive towards you on your journey in this. Cancer is no fun!! My beautiful wonderful father passed away from pancreatic lymphatic cancer. From the day he was diagnosed he only live 28 days later and then passed. I miss him so dearly but, I know someday I will see him again. Keep being you… keep being yourself and positive sweetie. Each day you WILL only get better. I’m actually still on puréed food until the 3rd of February so I do understand why you’re not hungry. Give it time…. You will heal and get back to your self. Oh and YES!! Tiffany! I'm so proud of you and it's wonderful to see you up and about! It's great to see you standing straight while you walk, especially after the complicated surgical procedure you underwent. I'm sure the pain meds are helping you ambulate. Just a small word of advice (I'm an oncology nurse practitioner), when you eat and/or drink, do so slowly to give your digestive system a chance to "warm up", if you will. When you sip your liquids, no matter how thirsty you may feel, sip small amounts very slowly. That will help mitigate the inevitable gas you'll experience. You look great and your color looks good! Day by day, you'll feel stronger, and your moods will even out once your pain med requirements lessen. Patience is your best friend now, Tiffany, give yourself grace and look forward to your complete healing and recovery! Tick, tick, tick! Right?! You have a bright, beautiful, and healthy future ahead of you! God bless you, my dear and you're well on your way to recovery. My love to Amma, Matt, and the rest of your family. God Bless you and keep you, Amma and Mat. Pulling out of your feelings of loss and sadness when you returned home as quickly as you did is amazing as well. It is important that you allow yourself to grieve the loss of important organs and their functionl. Expect your moods to be all over the place as your body adjusts to drastic hormonal changes (along with frustrating increased hot flashes,). One step at a time and it will get better.. You are doing wonderfully! It is so normal to feel agitated and depressed after any surgery, but especially with yours. The breathing exercise will help you so much! I started doing them when I started taking care of my mama after she was in the hospital very sick with Lewy Body Dementia and I started having panic attacks. It was a Godsend. I have to do them now since I have developed asthma and I do them any time I feel stressed. The breathing will help you immensely! I even had the symbol for breathe tattooed on my wrist so I remember to do the breathing excises every day. You are doing so well with your attitude and now walking! You are such an inspiration. Ah Tiffany, you are one amazing woman! Watching your videos brings back crystal clear memories of being in a similar place but I know I definitely didn't cope with it like you have. You're not just positive, you are so humble & thankful for all of the people around you. It's incredible. I know you're at home now & for me that brought a whole new set of issues. Going home was such an achievement but I wasn't prepared for how much I couldn't do. I felt like I was making progress in the hospital & then I got home & realised I actually couldn't do much at all. It was a very difficult time. If you're feeling like that just be reassured that it's normal. You're doing such an incredible job editing & posting & keeping us updated on your journey. I live with ulcerative colitis, have had some polyps removed from my colon and due to pandemic I haven’t had any check up for nearly 3 years. Hey sweet girl, hope you are continuing to get stronger and get to grips with your new normal. I can't help get emotional seeing you in hospital, particularly when I see Amma and Matt saying bye and leaving you...that has been the hardest part each time my Mum or Dad was in hospital. Nearly every time I left them with a cheery goodbye, I'd be walking off the ward and down the corridor crying. Seeing your loved one so poorly is hard, but walking away and leaving them in the hospital is harder. Anyway, I continue to pray for you and the family, and for 2023 to be a year of better health for you. We got this!!💙

Oh my goodness, this reminds me so much of my surgery and hospital stay. You are doing so well. I remember how difficult and emotional it was. Tiffany you don’t complain your strength through all of this is amazing you show us the real you. You are showing us the good the bad and the ugly side of dealing with cancer. Most of it is bad and ugly but the good is you your family and the surgeons plus the nurses and all the people that have joined your tiffanythinks family.
