Hey! I just wanted to let you know that I used to have an IUD and after having it in I started experiencing severe lower abdominal pain, I couldn’t walk or talk bc the pain was excruciating. I ended up in the ER because I thought I either had a cyst or my IUD perforated my wall. In the ER they checked and everything was in place and I had no cysts. I went home with pain meds but the pain continued for days and I couldn’t function at all. I ended up forcing my gyno to take my IUD out at 10 pm one night when I was back in the hospital and within 30 min the pain was finally gone! It was crazy how fast I felt better. My IUD wasn’t in the wrong place and there was nothing technically wrong with it but for some reason my body randomly started rejecting it after months of use. Just be aware. This isn’t to scare you or anything but our situations seem similar and yeah just want to give you a heads up. I have the nexplanon now and I love it! I hope you feel better! And I hope it’s a simple and quick fix!

I haven't had cysts myself, thankfully, but those I know with them have talked about the terrible pain being on one side - whichever ovary has the cyst. An IUD would cause more centred pain due to its position in the body. Plus, her pain abated after that awful night; an IUD would cause ongoing issues, most likely. Your experience is totally valid, of course. Just adding a few thoughts to consider as well. Glad you found a bc that works well for your body! Such an important thing. PS If it's not TMI, may I ask if you found you have lighter cycles after some months? I know not everyone does, but I don't currently know anyone with an implant so I'm curious. This happened to me too! Mine was a blessing and a curse all in one- I always experienced severe period pain but nothing like when I had my IUD..went to the dr. found out I had an ovarian cyst when we did an ultrasound that had to be surgically removed only then to find out I have endometriosis! So finally got a diagnosis for the pain but the IUD caused me the MOST pain for no reason! Never moved out of place nothing just my body hated it!
Basically caroline okay so first of all it’s incredible! The insertion wasn’t bad at all and I’m a baby about that stuff😂 it healed so quickly and wasn’t very painful after either. Ever since I’ve had it (almost a year ago) I’ve used maybe one box of tampons! I barely bleed but still enough that I know I’m regular if that makes sense haha and I have ZERO cramps! Literally none! I did gain a bit of weight but I lost it pretty quickly so no big deal there! Honestly best decision I’ve ever made in terms of birth control. Oh also no acne🙌🏻

i have had 2 ovation cysts at once and ive had multiple every few years since i was 13, so i definitely understand your pain and they have ruptured so i now that it hurts like hell

Super smart about showing your house! Safety always comes first! There was a story of an influencer in Japan who's house location was found by a stalker simply by the reflection of her wherabouts in her eyes in photos... Definitely extreme but good to be careful!
She should consider having the pictures removed from Redfin/Zillow/etc. because it can be fairly easy to find her home with it being recently sold, having a pool, and knowing the general area she lives in. 😬

Claudia!! You are so much stronger then anyone gives you credit for! Wow!! Passing a rupture cyst can be dangerous. Thank God, you got that checked out. I also have an IUD due to ovarian cysts so we are sisters in pain. :) so glad, you are feeling better but painful PMS can also be due from these cysts. Stay healthy and love the new house and home ❤️❤️
I recommend 64" curtains for the walk in closet window just so it's the perfect fit, they have white black out curtains at Target and Walmart. So so happy for you guys, been following you since the beginning

Just giving maybe another idea towards the “ovarian cyst”. I was off of birth control for 8 months and during those 8 months the week before my period I would get EXCRUCIATING pain on either my left or right side each month. It would switch each month and it would last maybe 48 hours max. My mom told me it was bc I was ovulating and some people ovulate hard core lol and you just said that you’re on your period in this video. Once I was put back on birth control, I don’t get that pain anymore. Now idk if you do ovulate hard core and your IUD doesn’t change that, but I’m taking the pill and it helped me out. I could be totally wrong and maybe you did have a cyst and fuck maybe I do too. BUT figured I share my words and thoughts and experiences. Love you Claudia ❤️
