That was a fun video. I liked your comments about the shrimp sauce. Your dish looks delicious. I really like the Cambodian recipes you picked a nice one.👍😊😋🌺
Very interesting dish, Charlie! I think I would have passed on that shrimp paste, too 🤢 But it looked like you enjoyed the final dish, and it looked delicious!😋👍
hey Charlie sorry for missing the premiere. that looks like some great fish Charlie, very nicely done. I don't eat much white fish but this is a great way to cook it up
thanks for the explanations in the beginning, interesting like always, Charlie. The combination of the paste and all other ingredients you used ... so full of flavor, I can imagine how tasteful this whole dish was. Thanks for showing this recipe and video. Greetings, Boris.
I haven’t had steamed fish for a long time!! ❤thanks for this awesome recipe Charlie!! I always love to hear history info always! Great to see you again! Much love always ❤
I lost all my bamboo steamer when I moved a couple of years ago… so mad about that🤣 I haven’t bought it again.. lemongrass paste?? What’s I never seen that one ever! Interesting
HELLO BEAUTIFUL BLESSED CHARLIE. THIS WAS AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING DISH. VERY INTERESTING INGREDIENTS. THIS LOOKS PERFECT FOR A COLD DAY IN GA. SMOOCHES 💋 😘 💋 😘
Hi Charlie good morning my friend. I have to say this dish looks so delicious I love fish, trying to keep my protein in take upt I am picky I could try this fish without hesitation Happy you did not use the shrimp paste . That is one ingredient I cannot use thankyou so much for sharing . Love and God bless .❤🙏🏻
Well, I have never tasted Cambodian food. I see you got that fish sauce working. These are some strong flavors you got in this fish dish. Great that you feature so many different flavors from around the world on your channel. I respect that of you.
Hey brother... im here taking notes. Always love your history/facts. The dishes you showcased at the beginning all look delicious. Bamboo steamer.. nice. Lol... dead shrimp paste... Yeah, that smelly bit mellows when it marries with the fish. That dish is full of flavor for sure. Ive ised galangal before. It is very hard to cut. Kafer lime leaves are hard to find. Good rendition brother. Thanks for being a part of our family.
Hi, Charlie! This Cambodian fish amok looks really interesting! I've never cooked with lemongrass before, so I'm curious how it would compare with lemon. I was not expecting you to steam this dish, but I would like to try a steamer basket like that at some point as well. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
Everything looks delicious, Charlie! 😋I love almost anything with fish and/or shrimp, but I agree with you on leaving out the "dead shrimp paste". Thank you for sharing and have a great day!👍
Wow, labor of love with this recipe but it looked ah-mazing!! I've never seen lemon grass paste, I'm going to look that one up, Charlie. Wonderful recipe, my friend! 👍🏻👍🏻
Love steamed fish. I used to have a bamboo steamer but didn't use it much so gave it away. Lovely recipe. I love the herbs that you use. Very delicious recipe. 🌺🌺
This dish would dominate any table on looks alone. leaving out the shrimp paste was a very wise move and I think upon reflection, a couple of minced anchovies, could be a good substitute. thanks so much for sharing.
Well, I’m definitely no expert on Cambodian cuisine, but this looks pretty good Charlie! I’m really not a big fan of fish unless it’s wrapped in some sort of breading and fried, however I’m definitely up for trying new things. Too bad I wasn’t there with you I might have, tried me a small bowl. It almost reminds me of clam chowder but with different ingredients of course… Now I could be off my rocker for saying that, but that’s just what it reminded me of. Excellent job as always, my friend.
9:37 great job Charley, I just came to your channel to show some love and it has me that I'm not subscribed to you for a couple of years now I don't know what's going on with RU-vid I'm going to a lot of people Channel and I'm not subscribed to the channel when I was before😕
