He's painted this advertising mural on a building within a conservation zone without obtaining planning consent - the subject of that mural is irrelevant to that fact.

This chippy has both a Union Jack and an England flag (as well as Union Jack bunting) that has been flying over the front entrance of the chippy since around 2018 without any issue. If it was about flags as many of the commenters are asserting - why hasn't he caught flack about those? He breached planning rules, he's been caught bang to rights, end of story.
