Fish on the OSP Rubber Dice Lure!?

Hey folks, welcome back to the channel. Today i'm out on my local system trying out a few new additions to my kayak and fishing arsenal.
1. New Lowrance HDS Pro 10 sounder
2. New lures - namely the OSP Rubber Dice lure
For the local and clean water, this was exceptional fishing!
Outfits used for the day
Dice - Old Custom Millerods Brawler 6'7, 2-5kg/Daiwa 2506 reel, 4lb leader
Bluelip Baits Pygmy Muss - Production Millerods BassFreak M 6', 2-5kg/Daiwa 2500XH reel, 5lb leader

I was actually looking months ago to getting a mold made up after seeing the Japanese smash fish on a simple lure like this

@@PaulMalovFishing no it is because of all the thin plastic lines coming off it as it will need more air pockets cause theres that many and so thin.

@@savvyluresogjust do that after they come out of the mold using jig skirting material perhaps? Less things to mold and to go wrong as it comes out of the mold

What a crazy lure 😮, almost reminds me a bit like the old Gene Larew Crappie Spider Could you fish them on a jig head at all ? Where did you get them from Paul ? would love to try them out

I’m sure you could fish them on a light jighead. But they might get torn up a bit on one. I got mine from some obscure Japanese website haha

The OSP lures are notoriously expensive throughout the range.

Fish love those hairy baits. I recently tried the Geecrack Imo Kemushi and the Texas bass loved it. Great vid!

there is a company named four seven lures that makes a far cheaper and more effective hairy bait. they arnt 25$ for 4

Hey mate. Yeah I’ve picked up a few of the cheapies off Ali/Temu style websites to try too. One thing i noticed is those all float, so will need a little weight inside to get them down

Those are some massive breams. Are they usually that size around there? I would consider most of the bream you caught to be around my best. Great vid mate keep it up

Hi mate, sorry for the delayed reply. The average size has probably increased in there and sometimes the lures I use also tends to attract the larger fish to bite. Thank you for watching! ✌🏻

I have seen some Americans using them and not taking them too seriously but they wouldn't make them if they didn't work.

Just online mate. There’s some Japanese and American shops that have stock from time to time. eBay is just $$$$$$

Def the most overpriced useless lure ever made...you can just thread skirt material through any garbage piece of bait and it works better😂

But that’s not the point is it - point is OSP came up with the idea and now everybody is trying to make cheap copies of it. I don’t disagree that they’re shockingly overpriced. But to say they’re garbage isn’t really fair
