Not meaning to be too personal, is the shaking in your hands nerve damage or arthritis? I have nerve damage in my hands and sometimes drop things at random when my grip releases. I have started modifying my fly rod grips to be more ergonomic and comfortable than standard narrow diameter full wells or half wells grips. Its too early to tell if it eases the pain I get or if I drop my rods less. I am in the pac NW and when it gets cold it gets worse.
