Everything alright man? You have seemed a bit down the past few videos. I know its none of our business, just hope you are doing well. We appreciate your content. God bless.
Ya I agree with the prior comment. Love watching your videos. You keep it real and for me I can appreciate that. Wish the videos were a little longer but editing can be a pain in the backside.
Easily the best fishing channel. No flashy edits, no obnoxious music, no unrealistic nonsense narration. Just a humble man out there fishing and enjoying himself. Keep it comin chief!! 🔥🔥🔥
I picked up Chef Paul Prudhomme Seafood Magic, now it’s time to catch me a flounder! Thank you for these inspirational video and bringing it to the table!
You mentioned big waves, it looks like you are going to get some REAL BIG waves in the coming days, stay safe and see ya soon! I loved the front view of the boat ride for a moment!!
Since i had my stoke its been a few years since i went fishing. its good to watch you all the time. I live in Mississippi about 30 mile from Mobile. I want to thank you for sharing your fishing trips, God bless
Hi from OH! Just came across your video for first time. I loved your video!, and enjoyed how kind you act to others. I venture any chance I can to fish. Salt fishing is always my fav. My Dad took me flounder fishing at Assateague Is. back in the 70s when I was little. It is in my soul. Thank you for an amazing informational video, and keeping me inspired to plan that trip back south to drop my rig into the beautiful salt water in hopes for a Flounder! God bless your future endeavors ❤
I grew up in St Pete FL and made fish sandwiches all the time ( mostly sheepshead, Grouper caught under the Skyway, and Whiting). After I left the Army of 7 yrs, I now live in MO and do a lot of Crappie fishing and make sandwiches from them….absolutely delicious. Thank you for your Service and Thank You for your videos, they remind me of home as my old home was right on the water too.
Glad they fixed the Ft Morgan pier. That was one of my favorite fishing spots until the hurricane damaged it. I'll finally get down to fish there in mid-May. Great video as usual!
Pure Awesomeness 💯💯❤️❤️❤️ Love that hat and bag u have!! My Father was in 1st Calvary.. 2 tours In Vietnam where he earned the Silver Star🤙🏻🤙🏻 Thanks For Your Service Brother!!
From someone that been catching jacks off the pier for almost 50 years, wait until they get on the west side of the pier before casting since a hooked jack will usually run west (under the pier) with the rest of the school and reel your lure across the top of the water as fast as you can to get their attention. You can't reel it fast enough to reel it away from them and a 6 inch plug with the lip filed off reeled as fast as you can across the top of the water usually works best. If you work a cobia jig like you would for cobia usually they're not interested in that.
Well now I have to try this when we get to Dauphin Island next Saturday - - always interesting to see how different areas do the cleaning and the cooking. This recipe looks taste and easy peasy.
Hey, I would like to see how you tie your knots. A knot to the jig head and how you connect your main line to your leader. Thanks. I love watching you! Keep it up!!!
Hey Bama loved watching them AJ busting that top water man them things are tough that can be work once again love your show my parents where from Alabama most my kinfolks still lives there been all over the state but never Orange Beach going to get down there soon fishing looks amazing keep it up big guy
Another great video. I love catching flounder, but I find it very hard. I had one on my line a few months ago over 20" and it popped the line while I was trying to get the landing net. I was on the pier and it was splashing around on the surface. It would've been my PB if I landed it. 😔
Hello I'm from California and I fishing fishing is beautiful and special for me love Pier fishing 🎣 that is a nice bait caster combo 💙🎣 I love that bait caster I would have added 2 pickles next to that sandwich 👍
You did a great job filleting the fish. I catch some here in Fort Lauderdale/Dania Beach area in the sand but nothing like you’re catching them in Alabama. Well done Youngman 👍🙌👏🏻
Wow…wow now…. That first flounder caught had a frayed line??? Come on Nancy thought you were a professional… lol jk love the content, thank you for the good stuff.
That first spot that you were at, I started walking that wall when i was 5 years old. We had a house at the three-mile marker on the bayside. That place was desolate. We could still drive our dune buggy on the beach.
RU-vid was a little late sending me the video but that sandwich looked awesome dude I think next time I do some flounder I'm going to do that sandwich just like you did
Liked as soon as I got the alert. Trying to learn as much as I can since I'm a definite novice. On one of those fillets there was a small but of red meat ( blood ). Would you say remove that portion or it doesn't effect the taste much?
I'm definitely going to have to try those Fishbites soft Plastics. I have heard people having luck with the Berkley gulp for flounder so I don't see why these wouldn't work either. 1st Cav!!! America's first team!!!
Good morning Bama Saltwater! Been a long time subscriber and I am about to mover closer to the beach where I picked up feel it is time to pick up a fishing set up. I got a Medium-Heavy Fast action Penn Battalion II Rod with a Daiwa MQ BG 4000xh reel (Picked the 4000 for a little more versatility. I am running 20lb braid with 15lb fluorocarbon leader. based on the research I conducted. My target species is flounder and spanish...will this set up be perfectly fine or should I go wit ha more dedicated set up? Thanks for your feedback!
Glad to see the flatties moving shallow. The new Ft. Morgan pier is nice but so shallow. Still don’t understand the philosophy behind the boat landing on the side of the pier. Made one side totally useless. Lol. 👍🏻🤙🏻
Great video! Congratulations on catching some nice Flounders! Also Thanks to you for Serving and PROTECTING our FREEDOM! Bro! If you could get the smell and taste included in your video's! I'd buy stocks! Keep fishing Bro! From north Alabama ghenley35
The one thing I love about bama is that he doesn’t cuss unlike other ones which I’m ok with but sometimes you just gotta chill and don’t wanna hear the cussing
Did they pile rift-raft around the Fort Morgan pier ? The reason I ask is I use to throw cast nets for mullet off the old Fort Morgan pier. but if they piled rift -raft you couldnt let your net hit bottom. love your videos. Thank you for your answer.
