Awesome fish CC. Some beauties. Good thing you had spare batteries. 👍🏻🤙🏻

Yeah all my fish I was weighing on the spring scales were in reality a little larger than what they were. I knew the spring scale was suspect cause it was rusted up pretty bad from using it in saltwater

My PB is 6 lb 11 oz’s but I live in southern New England so they have a short warm weather period and they are stunted. Florida offers so much more diversity in fish and huge bass!
@TheNorthFloridaAngler
@TheNorthFloridaAngler Год назад
That's a nice one for up north. Like you said the warmer weather makes a difference in growing large bass also we have the Florida strain which is the largest of the species.

I hope they are still around in April. Looks like submerged hyrdilla is your ticket this year.

Yep it's been good, but I've been catching them in other places too!

Thanks Robert and thank you so much for your support! Mornings have been the best for me lately for big fish!

I assume your basically trolling offshore for staging bass, could you give an approximate depth you like your shiners to run
@TheNorthFloridaAngler
@TheNorthFloridaAngler Год назад
On this particular day I was trolling and still fishing in 12 to 15 feet of water.

was this in February CC? and those picsifin digital scales arent accurate either CC. i tried a couple of them and they were way off so i returned them and just kept my old berkley because it was almost dead on..
@TheNorthFloridaAngler
@TheNorthFloridaAngler Год назад
Yes this trip was in Feb. I don't like to post trips right after I do them for obvious reasons. As for the scale maybe they started making them bad like everything else. Just bought to new reels the same model and make that I've had good luck with the last ten years. Going to have to send them back! Neither one of them works right!
@bigfishbrau
@bigfishbrau Год назад
@@TheNorthFloridaAngler that is true, they dont make things like they used to for sure! nothing lasts anymore so you have to buy new again..

Where are you fishing and catching bass of that caliber????
@TheNorthFloridaAngler
@TheNorthFloridaAngler Год назад
Most of my bass fishing is done in Northeast and Central Florida.
@MrCaissed
@MrCaissed Год назад
So for fishing a tournament one can’t get what they call an accurate weight weighing in a boat verses land. Why is that? New to your channel and you catch some seriously enormous bass. Huge bucket mouths. I figured you were south some where warm.
@TheNorthFloridaAngler
@TheNorthFloridaAngler Год назад
Probably cause the waves rocking the boat can mess up the reading. Got more big bass vids coming so stay tuned Dave and welcome to my channel!
@Shanester66
@Shanester66 Год назад
Do you fish artificial as well for bass?
@TheNorthFloridaAngler
@TheNorthFloridaAngler Год назад
Not that much anymore! I just do so much better on big fish using wild shiners! I actually use more artificials when I'm saltwater fishing!
