I don't need to see you over extend yourself fishing too many hours. I would rather see you fish safe and alert. Be careful out there and enjoy it ! ps love the videos
You’re as keen a fisherman as I’ve ever seen Nev! 19 hours is a long time, I’d like to see you get your 24hrs in but only if you know that we fans of yours have only your best interest in out hearts. It seems you know when the time is right to get back to shore. Be careful mate 👍🏻
Top effort Nev 👌 That’s a massivesession & you made the right call - no good being unwell & fatigued on the water alone. Cheers for posting up your adventures 🤙🎣🇦🇺
Great stuff Nev, love the tantalizing glimpses of coast we get so we can try and work out where you are. I fish out of Yaringa/Warneet so i reckon you are the other side to me. I'll be out on Thursday trying a couple of spots around the high tide turn. Enjoy your vids so much!!
Thanks a heap nev yuo do it for not you but us it goes to show that there are good people in the world wiling to sacrifice so that others are better off #cheers nev the legend
Ripper vid mate, love your dedication towards fishing. Not many people out there that a willing to sit in a kayak for that long, just for a yt vid. Top quality bloke, top quality vid. Keep at it mate💪
That's toughing it out Nev, you've done well, i can only handle about 6 hrs and that's in a boat although I'm 71. Those snapper you call small are my big ones in SE QLD. Good viewing mate.
Great day out Nev, long day out mate, you really put this one together well indeed. Hope you recovered okay. Also hope you enjoyed your birthday now your 30 odd the years will fly by so fast, I mean you'll have a dozen grandchildren in no time, I can just see it 😉 😀 😊 😄 ☺ . Take care mate, till the next chapter 👍
Hey brother I’m from Sydney I love watching your videos big fan or your videos If u come down to Sydney I’m taking u on my boat for a snapper fishing trip
Hi Nev, fantastic content as always. Just wondering what is the brand of your fishing rainwear? On the hunt for some new stuff myself but wanting decent stuff. Cheers!
Your videos are inspiring me to pick up fishing! You probably started since you was young, have you got any advice on where I could find some solid information for starting up? Keep up the good work dude, Peace.
Hey nev, what rig do you use for snapper and what net do you have.. I hooked up to a 90cm snapper in 5.4m water but on a 4kg drag reel.. it ran for 100m.. got it to the kayak but my net was way to small and it freaked.. and ran on and broke me off.. If only I had a larger net :(
Hard doing 24 on the boat, solid effort to even get close on the Yak. Some solid fish caught, I know the Eagle Rays and Banjos can be an absolute pain, but I am more confident in my fishing spot if I find them, they’re around feeding on the same stuff Snapper and Gummy’s are looking for.
id like to see if you can take the yak so some scenic spots that people cant really get to ! also like to see what food are you bringing along for these trips
Nev another amazing vlog and a great effort to last that long, there's no need to push it mate exhaustion can lead to accidents please take care cheers. I would love to catch a snapper that size
Big effort with 19hrs on the compass!! How was that seat feeling after that time? What rod and reels were you using? Looked a bit like a Saragossa reel?
Great effort Nev, if you didn't have Hemorrhoids you will now (sitting on ya butt that long). You must have been knackered but worth it. When you are out there for hours and get Zip/ziltch then that tests one's resolve.
G'day Nev, I never understood why people spend thousands on a kayak setup when you can get a running 4m old boat for under a grand. I had a kayak after I sold my boat, did 1 trip and thought.. stuff this. Bought a 4.7m old Haines V16 for $800 and been using that ever since. Other than no boat licensed I never understood kayak fishing
mate your videos are good but youre pretty keen to flog yourself fishing in a yak for 24 hours. at least if it was a boat so you can lie down or stand up but I guess you're young. always a pleasure watching someone who knows what they are doing.
I can't get over the fact you handle your rod/reel after you've got squid guts/goop on your hands. I'd be washing that off before handling anything, your rod will end up stinking up a storm.
Nice fish there Nev! I was wondering how you anchor, whether you have the side trolley or just tie it in front of you? Hit me up for a yak @ the sub one day mate 👍
