Bass fishing is at its best during a solar eclipse! We know that the moon affects fish behavior, but this bite was insane! I went bass fishing at a new pond in the Dallas Fort Worth area in this video. Spring bass fishing is already good, but combining with the eclipse made it an unforgettable day! I'll give you some helpful fishing tips along the way as I tear up the bass on this pond hopping adventure! All of the gear that I used will be listed below:

Great video and solid catches., I fish ponds in Texas also and I find myself throwing the Rapala crush city freeloader gizzard shad and man its been awesome weedless and landing big fish. Ive had multiple 3+ a few 4's and a PB 5/13 If you can find them Id give them a shot. The Kastking backback is great I have a different one and love it! Cheers mate!

Great video. Yeah, that’s a fun pond to fish. I was catching like you but on a wacky rig. Also, in the far corner to the left by the fence my shad HH was barely in the water when a fish smoked it. Yeah, definitely a fun pond.

Loved the video. Water clarity looked really good. I'm still waiting for my first HH fish. Hopefully soon. Hoping to find a good cranking bite soon. Looking forward to your future videos.

Thanks man! Maybe the hybrid hunter is that one lure that works for everyone but you!😂 For me it’s a jig. I’ve never had luck with a jig but everyone loves them

You should try the nikko Hellgrammite (centipede) the guy from creek fishing adventures catches good fish year round. That ozark trails $5 trout kit actually has their own centipede bait, and it gets ate aggressively by bass and bluegill. Good catches today, btw!

That place is gonna be a blast when they start hitting topwater... next time fish by the reeds... seen some big blow ups on that side. But great video and 8 is not a bad day;-)

I fished it a little at first, but I decided to turn around and focus my time on the narrower part where I fished in the video

Well they fenced the parking lot around the pond, put up serious security motion detectors with a security guard and if you set them off you hear loudly in English and Spanish "Attention, you are being filmed and recorded and the authorities have been notified"... which is a bummer. Also the trail that goes towards dam has new barb wired fence too!
