Man CC, Those bass you caught were just beautiful. You know, beside the big sizes your pulling out of that lake, I cant believe how beautifully dark they are as well. Just really healthy looking. Great job catching them CC. Stay safe. Cheers.😊
Bass are like chameleons: If the water is gin clear, not stained, sandy bottom, and not much vegetation, they will be lighter in color. But if the water is stained like dark tea ( it can even still be clear, just stained ) with lots of vegetation & other cover, they will usually be much darker in color. Combine that with lots of forage to eat, and they look very healthy indeed.
Nice Bass CC. Pound for pound you catch some of the nicest bass on RU-vid. You got a hell of spot too. Enjoyed watching as always and hope to see you on the water. Matt
Shoot ya! I'm out in oklahoma and we occasionally target bass with live bluegill. What type of rig are you using? Looks like just under a bobber but you go any tricks? You make me wanna live bait fish way more! Keep up the great videos Cap.
Check out a video I recently put out called My Top Four Shiner Techniques For Trophy Bass! There I go over some of the details of this deadly method of bass fishing!
i caught an 8.9 not far from that spot in march. but looking at my pictures i dont think its the same one! crazy.. and it fought so hard if it would have got off, i wouldve thought it was an 11-12 pound bass or a giant mudfish. that thing fought like a river bass!
