I've thinking about camping down there for a while now but haven't made it happen yet. It might be worth thinking about wearing a self inflating vest when fishing in places like that as it looks like it could be hard to get out of if you went in. Looked like a great day for fishing. Every time we've gone to Yorkes recently it's been blowing its guts out.
use a slightly heaver sinker close to your bottom hook and turn your big float into a sliding float with a swivel to stop it, you will get longer casts as all the weight is at the bottom of your rig until it hits the water then your bait will go deep and your float will slide to the top....works well for salmon..
