Mr T... Did you ever get much luck on the pulley rig... Spotted a video you made a while back... The mechanics of the rig make sense but I am keen to find out if you smashed any on it

Yes i have caught on the pulley. its a great setup. I use it mostly in from september onwards ie kob season and only for kabeljou. (but it takes time to make up at the beach so if not pre-made at home i go fixed or running trace.) For pendulum casting, its the best trace. best balance and gives just a clean throw.

I know daiwa reels are excellent and reliable. Grabbed the following info off the internet as I'm no expert and new to the grinder market.
