On your spinner, do you just do a loop knot and thread the loop through the eye for easy switching of lures or do you leave the spinner loose on the loop for more action?
What action (ultra light, light or Medium) are the rods? Do you find that a specific action works better with spinners? I was out today using the Mepps and caught a few, but also missed some. Not sure how that happens with a spinner 😏 Thanks for the tips. Pickering Creek Delayed harvest.
Since I have started running my St. Croix’s I have been using the medium power, fast action in those, they are a little stiffer, but that allows me to run my streamers a lot better….. my Berkley Cherrywood was an ultralight. That is honestly what I’ve caught the majority of my big fish on. All my rods have also been customized to under 5’👌😁🤙
@@chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620 awesome thanks for the info they have been working really well for you maybe I’ll try to tie some up myself to try out
I can tell you all it took me my whole life to find these places & to have the talent to be able to do what I do….. lol….. so unfortunately I’ll show you all me doing it….. but I’m not going to show you where or how! 🤷♂️
@@chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620 Great answer! Too many people want everything handed to them on a silver platter and don't, or won't, put the time or effort in to acquire this knowledge. 👊🏼
I personally use Mepps because they work the best for my style of fishing. I have used many other brands over the years and the Mepps seems to definitely target the bigger fish much better. They started working for me about 15 years ago & I’ve never looked back! 🤙
