Fishing Holyhead breakwater using baited metal lures.
My brother and his friend used these to great effect catching a variety of species through out the trip using them close in to the pier keeping them just off bottom clear of the snags and slowly jigging them up and down.
This was a fun and easy way to use these little metal lures to catch fish.

hi just wondering during lockdown could you repeat your macarel lure video from 2/3 years ago but use different colour line and show how to do each knot?? just i couldnt see/understand any of the knots

Love your videos. I'm (hopefully) taking a trip to the UK next year and was wondering do you use the towel because the fish are poisonous? Would love to try fishing over there but dont want to get stung

Thanks, no I use the towel just so I can get a better grip on the fish for unhooking. We only have one type of poisonous fish over here its the weever fish.

Have you got any tips or spots on the break water to hit mate? Going there with old man end of the month, tips for outside wall and inside? Anything appreciated mate thanks, never been before so yano how it is

I havent been down that way for a few years so not sure how it's fishing now or if its still accessible there's a Facebook group called North Wales sea fishing that's ran by a local lad who fishes around that way all year you will probably get better local up to date information from off there, hope that helps mate.

Question are you going to chance it on ss pier this summer knowing that keeping your distance could be a problem unless you go early in the morning .just a thought m8

I'll probably be going for first and last light when it's less busy to keep my distance from people or I'll head to the rocks.
