@@fishingsister yesterday my mum and I watched your videos all night, we are inspired and right now we are off to ardrossan at yorkes to catch something. You should make some videos down that way 😁🥰
@@stevenheinjus Wow that is so great! Would love to fish at Yorkes one day...I have heard that it is fantastic. Hey I would love to hear how you go today - if you follow me on facebook I can invite you to my closed group where you can post me a photo!
I have a fabulous old book from the late 60s called where to fish in South Australia and it’s full of maps. They reckon back then you could catch bream in the corner where exactly you were fishing.
Thanks, we love putting these videos together. We like to try new locations and share what we find. It’s not about catching heaps of fish, more about enjoying the experience.
My 7 year old son and I have learnt a lot from you and your adventures. Kangaroo Island is definitely on the family holiday list after your series from there. Have you fished at Myponga beach and Myponga reservoir before?
@@timharriss7449 We appreciate your comments, make sure you give the videos the thumbs up to the ones you like as it helps fishing sister get more exposure...We have not yet finished our KI series, more to come .....so keep tuned :) KI is an amazing fishing location. We have not fished Myponga reservoir, but are keen to do so one day. We have been to Myponga Beach and caught salmon trout on salted pilchards.
Yes we only found it by accident. Petrel Cove is another sheltered spot but hard to fish we have found. We had an amazing session there about a year ago (before we started filming) but have not had any luck since. Will keep trying though :)
@@fishingsister If you get a clear rectangular tub from Bunning's or the like, cut a 50 mm hole in the lid and drill several small holes in the sides and base so the water can flow in and out to drain. If you have a small section of a plastic bottle to make an inverted lip of approx 40mm and hot glue it to the inside of the hole , this will stop the mullet just swimming back out of the box. Place a few rocks in the tub, add your bread crumbs and slowly lower it into the water so the crumbs don't disperse every where and don't forget to attatch a small rope. There is commercially made ones for a ridiculous price when this does the same job so you can spend the money on better things. If you use the search on you tube they are used in Lakes Entrance and all down the coastal water ways of Vic as mullet are the most popular fresh bait to get for just about everything . Good luck
@@fishingsister Yes I've used it and there would have been 150 or more various size mullet. You sort out what you want and tip the rest back. If there's plenty of mullet around and there usually is it will take about 20 min's to 1/2 an hour and you will have all the mullet you need.

Hey Simon one of our viewers said he used to fish years ago at a place called Yoho between Rapid Bay and Cape Jervis. Is that on any of your maps?? He said it was amazing back in the day.
