How 'bout this: 1)Keep your line in a cardboard box. 2)poke a pencil or dowel thru the sides of the box close to the top so a spool can be placed on the dowel as an axle. 3) that's it ! But remember kids. NEVER do this when installing line on a spin or spincast reel!!! It will cause line twist. On those type reels the spool must be stationary laying label side up with line coming off in the same direction as it goes on the reel. Note: some small pony spools require label side down.
Strike Kings Contra comes with a setup for putting line on your reels . One end has suction soft plastic , the other end is white plastic housing that has screw out top, slide your spool over the housing than screw cap back on . Then attach suction end to glass or clear plexiglass and your ready to go .
All that work and you can buy a better one for 5 dollars what a waste of time to load line and that is the wrong way to load a spinning reel will twist the line leading to tangles casting
Yes! That would be a disaster for any reel except a baitcaster. Folks would be well advised to watch a vid done by a tournament pro fisher for the proper way to put line on a spin or spincast reels.
Entertaining but you have taught nothing. Use words and explain what tools to use, i.e. drill sizes, tap size and thread pitch for threaded holes... etc.
