Glad you caught the salmon and squid . Those weed whiting are a misnomer . I got them spear fishing 35yrs ago and.... parrot fish would be a complement,.. There's a reason why there's still so many of them !!! Good vid and music again . Thanks Fishing Sister !!!
@@fishingsister make sure to berley up the water and the fish will come to you, I usually go in the morning when the squid and whiting are close to shore and when it starts to get lighter the mullet and salmon/salmon trout come around. At night time you can wade out and get some large sand crabs as they are around too! Cockles, squid and beach worms work a treat down there.
@@tommyswildfishing Wow..I hope I get more luck next time then. All I have caught is the odd salmon trout. Do you fish the main beach or the smaller beach near the covered picnic table? I have heard people get flathead in front of that.
@@fishingsister yes I fish next to the haycock point rocks near the dirt car park, I’ve never seen a flathead there in my life but I’m sure you can bring the wreckers beach flathead luck to carrikalinga when you go down next.
@@fishingsister hello FS . It's worth trying.for the record... The Chinese like parrot fish and I think it's because they steam a lot of fish . The steam dries out and might just make the difference with mushy type fish...
