Troy and I fishing Pine Island sound mangroves and docks for snapper and snook.
We used Shimano Stradic’s, Saragosa and Daiwa BG, Saltist for fishing reels, and Gloomis and St.Criox for rods. For line we had Power Pro 15,20 lbs test and for leaders Seagar 30 lbs Fluorocarbon. Owner hooks 2/0 4/0 tournament circles, and Owner 2/0 ssw octopus style, J-hook.

This was inshore pine island in the mangroves in the spring time. Live bait with moving water seems to be the ticket. I have a video “Fishing pine island sound” with a sunset and me and my buddy Troy holding fish in the thumb nail where I give away spots.
