Trying to fix up my great grandpa's old zebco 404. It hasn't been used in over 20 years, so I'm replacing the string, wd40ing it, just cleaning up the whole thing
I have an old 404 like yours that won’t work properly. I have disassembled and cleaned, but still no joy. I have to hold the thumb button down through the entire cast to make line release - instead of pressing and releasing the button. Any suggestions on what’s wrong?
