Hello all, we are back fishing the South Saskatchewan River looking for some sturgeon! We get lucky with a few fish, even though the weather was pretty terrible. It was raining for about 95% of the time we were out there and the wind was relentless.

Sauger no white tip on the bottom of the tail is the easiest to tell. They will also have a Black spot on rear of the dorsal fin .

Yea exactly its been so long since I've caught a sauger I kind of forgot what it looked like! lol but yea the spots and the color is more olive on a sauger. Oh also Walleye have a white spot on the tail. :) Glad you enjoyed the content my friend!

Hey Gavin this is at the forks between the Oldman and the Bow river, where they merge and form the SSR. You can camp here as well just look up little bow island it is east of Taber!
