While I've been waiting for the ice to come off the lakes up in the Northwoods, I took a trip down to lower Michigan to try and catch my first steelhead on the fly. My Buddy Polaris Dan set up the trip and we fished out of his boat as he had been fishing the river with his Uncle Clyde for the better part of 20 years. Clyde himself has been fishing the PM for the better part of 30 years. Their combined experience helped me get into some awesome fish. Steelheading certainly goes down as one of my favorite ways to fish after this trip and I look forward to doing it more in the future and bringing you guys along on more in-depth videos. For now, I hope you enjoy this video and I hope it inspires y'all to go and do something a little different every once in a while and you just might find something else you love doing.
